What key injuries did UT have going into our game last year?
Don't get self-righteously indignant, LW. I didn't specify when the injuries occurred. What I said was: "I agree and while I don't wish ill on any kid, Vol or not, I can't muster up much sympathy for the gators. For the past few years our Vols have been under a constant siege of injuries, suspensions, and such."
For the past few years we've had ACL injures further reducing our better players and a host of other incidents playing havoc of a team already short handed. Therefore when I read of similar Gator mishaps, I regret a kid is enduring it. BUT at the same time, I can't muster up very much sympathy for the Gator team as the Vols have had it worse for quite a while.
I recall Tebow who I have a lot of respect for, especially as a person once saying he felt no sorrow for Tennessee's situation at the time. That's how I feel right now. So take it for what I meant without any self-righteousness or indignation. :hi:

here's an article on jones. the illness is more serious than i thought, but this gives you a pretty good idea.
Lighten up Francis...it was a simple question that you read far too much into.
Several posters suggested that UT has gotten the short end of the stick with regard to injuries when playing UF.
I didn't recall UT missing key players before our game last year, hence my question.
You may want to re-read our respective posts...you'd be surprised at who came across as being self-righteous and indignant.

No, although losing JHunter in the 1stQ might have cost UT a win in 2011. Remember, Brantley was the QB and the Gators went' 6-6.
Like wiseolvol said.Plus, thoughts healing will stay in the back of his mind, especially when our blitz comes.Injury's seems to always play a mental role(Hunter last year after '11 injury)
