Injuries piling up for Florida

We want to beat them at their best, then there are no excuses. Go Vols.

I agree and while I don't wish ill on any kid, Vol or not, I can't muster up much sympathy for the gators. For the past few years our Vols have been under a constant siege of injuries, suspensions, and such.

What key injuries did UT have going into our game last year?

1) I hate Florida.

2) I couldn't care less about their fans that post here or fans in general, they're all dumba$$ gators.

3) I couldn't care less about who is injured or ill in that athletic program.

4) I hate Florida. Lets save DisneyWorld and send the rest of that horrible state out to sea.

Don't get self-righteously indignant, LW. I didn't specify when the injuries occurred. What I said was: "I agree and while I don't wish ill on any kid, Vol or not, I can't muster up much sympathy for the gators. For the past few years we've had ACL injures further reducing our better players and a host of other incidents playing havoc of a team already short handed. Therefore when I read of similar Gator mishaps, I regret a kid is enduring it. BUT at the same time, I can't muster up very much sympathy for the Gator team as the Vols have had it worse for quite a while.

I recall Tebow who I have a lot of respect for, especially as a person once saying he felt no sorrow for Tennessee's situation at the time.
That's how I feel right now. So take it for what I meant without any self-righteousness or indignation. :hi:

Lighten up Francis...it was a simple question that you read far too much into.

Several posters suggested that UT has gotten the short end of the stick with regard to injuries when playing UF.

I didn't recall UT missing key players before our game last year, hence my question.

You may want to re-read our respective posts...you'd be surprised at who came across as being self-righteous and indignant.

When have we been "at out best" since the streak began?

Believe me, UF fans wouldn't care if we dressed only 25 players. They'd count the win just the same, and brag.

Are you suggesting that UT injuries played a major role in UF beating UT over the past 8 years?

No, although losing JHunter in the 1stQ might have cost UT a win in 2011. Remember, Brantley was the QB and the Gators went' 6-6.

Like wiseolvol said.Plus, thoughts healing will stay in the back of his mind, especially when our blitz comes.Injury's seems to always play a mental role(Hunter last year after '11 injury)

Our head coach was mentally impaired last season. Should count as a significant injury.:hi:

Whatever you say, Anne of Green Gables.

Operative word being "might".

Hunter's injury did more damage mentally than anything else. Rivera, Rogers and the kid who wound up transferring all played well that day.

UT couldn't run the ball...thats why they lost, not because Hunter was injured.

Nonsense...Gillislee had a target on his back and a gimpy groin, and he still gashed UT's defense in the second half.

Our best LB JJenkins missed the game last year and a true freshman stepped in and played exceptionally well.

UT fell apart mentally when faced with any semblance of adversity (Hunter's injury, Burton's TD run). Luckily for you guys Dooley is gone, because I believe he was the source of that softness.
