Doesn't have to work for you. I just wanna see some people think for themselves instead of thinking of behalf of a text or their preacher/pastor/parents.

You took that and ran with it. Thinking people need to, I dunno, formulate a rational thought before voting.

I still haven't received an answer to a question I've asked about 4 times in this thread. How can someone rationalize making the effort to go out and shoot a bill down when the result of that bill doesn't affect their lives in the least? Even if you cite the Bible, there's not one verse in there that tells believers to play God police and keep other people from engaging in sinful activity (i.e. a same sex couple getting married).

Because that affects millions of people, the quality of our health care, and it's another huge factor in the fiscal problems we're facing down the road. Shoddy comparison.

It just the exact opposite of what you believe. You see every thing in your version of black and white. Your values tell you that your way of thinking is correct, from what ever source you use. Just as anyone that has an opposite view.
As to your question about morals and where they come from, I am not ashamed to say that mine come from them Bible. Where exactly does your set of values come from? Did you make them up yourself or did you get them from book?

Societal norms, parents, common sense.

Like the cultures that pre-date the Bible, I didn't need it to be a moral individual.

but you're answering the question I care least about... what part of the Bible instructs you to keep others from sinning, especially when it doesn't negatively affect anyone?

So what is right about same sex marriage? Is it something that occurs naturally in the world? In the world of mammals does it not take male and female to continue the species? You know, the way nature itself does things.

Well said, people just need to mind their own business. For example if gay marriage is legal it doesn't force you to marry a man. Marrying a woman is still perfectly legal. Not everyone has the same morals.

Marriage isn't natural, if you want to play that card.

We have an overpopulation problem. Homosexuality may be a natural solution.

I'm not sincerely saying these things, I'm just going by your strictly natural card.

And or chicks while their female mates
Go off to feed and vice versa? Because all the male penguins stay and go as a group doesn't mean the penguins are homosexual. The same for the female. It's their natural instinct to do what they do. They both stay at different times with their egg/chick.

Are you talking about those two male penguins that are the only two together there in that zoo? Even male prisoners has sex with each other just to be able to have sex. It s lust that gets them to that point.

Maybe we should strictly follow the Bible, sex only in missionary position, no contraceptive whatsoever(including withdrawl method, and predicting her ovulation), no oral sex.
