I think it became a legal issue to keep fathers from marrying daughters, sister and brothers, and such as that.

That raises another issue. Do you stop with Gays?

What if people want to start marrying brother/ sisters, fathers/daughters, mothers/sons?

Why is that any different?
Where and why do you draw the line?

yeah because that's such a major problem in this world. me thinks the legal issue came from the need for you to be able to make decisions about your spouse rather than their family.

Well, I will tell you why

Because the Bible, which most of us try and live by says that marriage is between a man and a woman.

This same Bible is also why its against the law to steal, murder, rape, pillage, plunder, and just commit outright anarchy. Mans laws are based in part on Gods laws.

bull****. the bible is based on man's laws. and the bible has many stupid rules which we no longer follow. i.e. do you have your wife sleep in a different house when she is on the rag? comparing gays getting married to stealing, muder, rape and plunder (all of which effect you btw) is absolute idiocy. nice selective choice of what's important and what isn't.

Why do you get so mad?

I'm just telling you why. You dont have to believe that. Its just as much as your right to not believe in the bible as it is for others to believe.

Just as you dont want Christians to push their views on society, is the same way some Christians feel about some in society pushing their views on them.
