iPhone vs. Droid

I am own Verizon 4 GLTE

I am not familar with speed test.
I just downloaded sppedtest.net and here is my results, sitting in my home office near the router.

I have charter internet, using one of their installed routers.

On Wifi
Ping 110 ms Download 7.31 Mbps Upload 2.83 Mbps

On Verizon 4GLTE

Ping 178 ms Download 5.46 Mbps Upload 5.10 Mbps

They both seem fast the me with the 4Glte being faster.

Can someone tell me how these stack up?

You're good although a little slow for 4G. If you get 2mbps down you can do pretty much anything plenty fast.

7.3 on wifi seems slow but your 4g seems about right.

Wifi is based on the Internet connect & distance from router. I get less on wifi than my AT&T 3.5G. My iPhone gets about the same as his 4G phone.

Normally my 4G is around 25Mbps DL and between 11 and 15Mbps UP, but for the last fifteen minutes it has been closer to his. I think Big Red is having some issues right now...

I realize that, but its still slow for wifi. Unless its some "free" business wifi. There's no reason for wifi at home to be that slow.

I understand 4G is usually faster but I was responding to his 5mbps. My iPhone gets that & more.

I know - I was comparing to the 4G I get --> this portion of his post:

I was thinking that if my 4G just dipped significantly in an area that I usually have great connection/speed, VZW could be having some issues, possibly contributing to his low speed.

Forgive the lack of clarity.

Calling the iPhone wizard. I went to edit a picture on my phone and now it won't let me exit back to the rest of my photos, no good.

I think you just hit cancel in the upper left or save in the upper right. If its not there tap anywhere on the screen & it should pop up. If you edit a pic it replaces the one you edited so may wanna copy first.

Yes, in itunes on your computer uncheck the songs you don't want to sync. Then when you connect your iPhone make sure you have the settings to only sync checked songs (usually this is the default setting) and sync.

Another option is to just make playlists and change the sync settings in iTunes on the computer to only sync selected play lists.

In regards to this thread, I love my phone...

But man, why don't they just make some things like that work just a little bit better?

I was hoping I just couldn't figure it out and somebody had an easy solution for me...

I'm with you. I love my iPhone, but it isn't perfect.
