No. I upgraded a couple months ago. A friend also just did it.

I did see one app in the iTunes store with a comment giving similar directions.:dunno:

There's quite a few apps for this some just don't give you the keyboard.

I have an iphone4...tried your instructions and didn't see the Emoji option. I may be missing something, but I don't think it is available..

It only works iPhone to iPhone. Everything else it's jabberish. There are a lot of emoji apps & some are free & they all pretty much have the same icons. Download the app, reboot your phone, go to settings<general<keyboard. Then click add international keyboard & scroll to emoji. In your message app there will be a little globe symbol in the lower left to switch from english to emoji keyboard.

Just a general question...Does jailbreaking your iphone make it slower? When I jailbroke mine last week, it made my keyboard noticeably slower and less responsive.

Yes, it will make it slower. It's doing the ninja jailbreak thing all the time-which slows it down.

I haven't jailbroke mine but considered doing it just to get free tether. Probably just leave it the way it is.

I don't think it does as long as you restore it. I jailbroke mine and it made it slower so I just restored it and now it's good as new...no way to tell I ever jailbroke it.

just got an iphone 4 (verizon), mainly for the DP AR pro App, 20 bucks, it lets you point the camera at a certain azimuth and determine if your satellites are blocked by trees , very handy if you install satellites, there are free ones you can find if you search for inclinometer... i really dont know how to use it yet(the phone) and was wondering what you fellas would suggest to download first
