what stability issues? Also droid has always had over the air updates and they still don't require wifi.

I wonder if Verizon has the same wifi requirements? I always figured that was an AT&T issue.

Thanks. That helps alot. I'm sure stability is not really a factor on the iPhone operating system like it can be on droids.

Why would HTC droid incredible2 still come with froyo. Or is that a verizon thing not having updated yet?

I found this video on iOS 5. It looks like Apple took the pull down bar from Android. It looks really cool...check it out.

OTA sync is an iOS thing, which is why they're finally getting it with iOS 5 release, after Droiders have had it from the get go.

Looove my Nexus One, and comparing it side by side with an iPhone 4, I'd still take my Droid, even with it beign a year and a half old. AMOLED screen just shames the iPhone screen.

Droid's biggest drawback, imho, was the quality of Apps. Once developers realize that Android has the largest market share now, they might decide to start developing for Droid, because they're missing out on barrel loads of cash as it stands now.

BTW, if you're killing apps in the background on Droid, you're only hurting your battery life. Just leave them running. I can go 2 days on mine before having to recharge.

From what I understand, it works like android. That means that there will be a subtle little notification on the top of the screen but if you try to reply, it takes you to the messaging app again.

I use the AT&T Tele-nav app. $10 a month and has full functionality including verbal turn by turn directions and route correction. You may also use the Tele-nav website to add addresses ahead of time.
