iPhone

Of course there's a way, they mass produce millions of them. The good thing is if its under warranty they will exchange with no hassle at all. I'm gonna get my new iphone 5 exchanged because I don't feel like the battery life is up to par. It's not bad just not as good as I would like. Back to the subject, is it old videos or new ones? Have you updated recently?

The old videos are fine; it's the new ones that there's no sound to. It has a lot of static. And yes, I've downloaded the newest upgrade. I've had this phone for about a year so I'm sure it's about time for it to start malfunctioning.

For those with the 5 what kind of battery life are y'all getting? Mine was kinda bad at 4-5 hrs usage & 7-11 hrs standby so I made an appointment last week at the apple store. The guy said that was bad so he did a DFU restore & told me to set it up as new which was kind of a pain but not too bad. He said we had to do that first to rule out a software issue. Anyway the battery life has improved but I'm not sure it's still acceptable. The last I recorded was slightly over 6 hrs usage & about 20 hrs standby. I'm seeing some folks are getting double that but just wondering what some of you guys are getting before I get a replacement.

Anyone having issues with their 4S?? Ever since the update, my wife's has flat out gone to crap. Won't make calls, drop calls, randomly calls people, freezes, won't connect to wifi. You name it has done it. Thinking about taking it to Verizon.

Anyone having issues with no sound on videos? I've got an iPhone 4 and sound used to be fine on the videos. Music plays fine, sound is turned all the way up, I've checked online and have done all of the troubleshooting tip, and I haven't dropped my phone. Oh and I've also rebooted it. Anyone have any ideas other than it's defected somehow (even though it worked fine a few months ago)?
I'm having this same problem with some videos. I have the 4 too, I've been having wifi issues since the update as well.

Hook it up to iTunes or iCloud. Back everything up. Reset the device back to factory. Restore your stuff back.

That will save you a trip and do pretty much exactly what they will do.

Back it all up. Hold power button and home button and wait for device to turn off and the silver apple to come up. Release the power button and keep home down. Done properly you'll see an iTunes logo with the cable. Plug it up to iTunes, restore the phone to factory. Then, restore your stuff back to the device.

They will do the dfu restore but tell you to set up as new.

I just ordered an iPhone 5 and am looking for a nice Tennessee case for it. Do you guys have any recommendations?

Here is one. Apparently the design is customized into the otterbox case when you order.

I'm not a fan of otter boxes. Too bulky. I'm sure they are good for people that work in a more hazardous environment like construction or those that are just super clumsy may need them, but I don't fall into either one of those categories.

I have insurance on my phone so a slim case to protect from basic wear and tear scratches is all I need. I also don't use those plastic films for the screen. Gorilla glass is very durable. The only precaution I take is not putting my phone in the same pocket with my keys. I carried an iPod Touch with me everyday for 3 years before Verizon got the iPhone and I upgraded. It only had a tiny, barely noticeable scratch on the screen. Other than that it's still in perfect condition.

The pic of the otterbox I showed was the commuter. It's less bulky than the defender that your probably thinking of. I just carry mine with nothing for now. I have a bumper I use sometimes but if you leave it on for long periods you will get grit inside & scratch the bezel. I don't like the hard plastic snap on deals at all. I may actually get one of these otterbox cases myself.

I have a Casecrown two piece case that slides on. I usually take it off and wipe away the dirt along the edge once a day. It's a hard case but has a slightly rubbery texture (but not the type of rubber that attracts lint). My only complaint about it is that it can start to slide off when pulling it out of my pocket.

I actually cancelled my order on the other one and ended up buying this exact one. I read reviews on it and they were pretty good

You will probably like it better. It offers a lot better protection & is probably slightly more bulky if at all.
