iPhone

I may or may not - I'm on 4S and above all I want more screen real estate.

I'm still on a 4S too; I would like a slightly larger screen, but I don't like the skinny 16x9 aspect much. I'm probably going to stand pat and see what's different next year. There are some fairly strong rumors in the Apple press that the screen will be larger again when they change the body again for next year's model.

I wouldn't doubt it. Typing on my 5 right now feels extremely small compared to the android phones I sell on a daily basis.

Got my AT&T dealer line set up which allows for annual upgrades, think ill probably be jumping to an HTC One here shortly.

I'd take a Moto-X or the new LG G2 long before I used an HTC One.

Back on topic: Getting the iOS7 final release today. I still haven't actually seen it running on a phone. (Developer's got the final iOS code this week and I'm on a dev account)

If Apple doesn't go with a bigger screen they are toast

The HTC One has my attention - beautiful hardware. Not sure I want to make the leap of the Apple platform since I'm all Mac/iPad at home

I'm due for an upgrade so I'll probably get a 5S while my 4S is still worth enough to cover the upgrade fee.

The camera upgrade will be worth it. Fingerprint tech will be nice too.

For some people, I'm sure this is true. I don't watch a lot of videos on my phone, so personally the size of the iPhone 5 feels just about right to me. If they change it to some monstrosity like the Galaxy without offering a version with a screen size comparable to that of the 5, I'll probably just stick with my 5. I'm not about walking around trying to fit a damn iPad in my pocket.

I dont understand why you want to the phones to get bigger. If you want a big screen then get a tablet. I owned a droid and I like the OS of the Iphone alot better. JMO.

Same boat. You going online marketplace to sell the 4s?

My work has an intranet that contains a classified ad page. I've sold a 3GS, and twice sold a 4 (different devices) very quickly. I'm surprised at the number of people willing to pay a premium to avoid the 2-yr contract.

That's kind of where I am. I never really thought of myself as an "Apple person", but one day I looked around and realized I have tons of Apple stuff around my house.

Keeping unlimited data is paramount to some. I will buy phones out right from Verizon because of my data use, itwould be much cheaper for me in the long run.

I still have my AT&T unlimited. For about 3 or 4 months here recently I was using 30-50gb per month while cable & Internet was out & was never throttled. Was tethering jailbroke phone & they never said anything.

With Verizon if you use the upgrade, you lose unlimited data. When I went from the 3G 4s to the LTE 5 my data use went through the roof. IMO they will have to adjust the data plans for the LTE networks, because you can blow through 4gb of data by just watching a few movies on Netflix.

AT&T was suppose to throttle unlimited users. It was 2 or 3gb if on 4G & 5gb for LTE. I've never experienced it & I always go over.

Verizon tried to keep grandfathered unlimited data, but unlike AT&T wasn't successful in keeping subscribers from tethering (I know cc can do it via jailbreak, and don't care).

Right now, and for probably the next 5-10 years, AT&T and Verizon simply won't have the capacity to carry 100k+ subscribers and support things like watching HD movies.

They have probably each completed a new tower in the time it took me to write this post, but it will likely be a while longer before they bring back the unlimited data plan.

I have great luck on Craigslist. No fees and you can have the deal concluded quickly. I've been able to sell all of my iphones for the same as I paid for them.

I may try that. I've really only used craigslist to sell a few things locally that are too big to ship.

Be clear in your ad that you want no low ballers or trades or you will get aggravated quick. $$$CASH ONLY$$$

This can pretty much be said for anything you attempt to sell on Craigslist. The amount of people who think they're going to get something for nearly free is mind boggling. I had two tickets on the front row of the upper deck for last year's UF game, and you won't believe the offers I got. One guy offered me $50 a piece for them, another offered to trade me some sort of bow. I had posted that I would entertain a trade offer for a G-10 pass for the same game, but instead somebody called me and said he had an apartment in The Fort, and in exchange for the tickets he would be willing to move his car somewhere else and let me use his spot for the day. LOL
