always a treat to open the im3 thread only to see a debate on civil/gay rights.

i am definitely going to check this out on sat. i wouldn't think pepper dies, but a good kidnapping may be in order.

Great movie.

Word to the wise though, don't bother staying for the post-credits scene. They went the funny route instead of the "drop a hint about what to expect in the future route".

And it's about 20 minutes of credits for about a 25 second scene.

I really enjoyed it (the movie). Good action, wit, humor

True, the post-credits scene wasn't worth it unless you just want to chill in the theater after the movie. I heard to stay so I was going to anyway, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over not seeing that scene

Awesome, my boy LOVED IT....all he could talk about...esp the final fight scene....

we did NOT get to see it in 3D tho....I had a Dr app at 10am and did not get out til 1245...so we went to the regular show at 110...but still great movie


Pepper is now BadAss

Being the third in the franchise and having the task of following the Avengers. I feared this movie might fall a little flat but after seeing all the reviews I'm super pumped to see this tomorrow.

I don't like 3D movies unless it's animated. Im glad to hear the final fight seen was good, i was disappointed in IM2's.

Sorry man. Wife bought ours yesterday via the net. If the weather wasn't so cold and rainy here we had originally planned to go to the drive in. So instead I'm heading out soon to the regular crammed pack theater.

me and my boy seen the first 2 installments together. We kept with tradition last night. Although it was OK, I left feeling disappointed. It wasnt what I expected. The final scene was meh to say the least. The first one was still the best. The Avengers was the second best.

My boys and I saw it in the new RPX theater today. It was good, about as expected. There was at least one surprise (no spoilers here). The upgraded screen and sound were fantastic.

Excellent movie! Two thumbs up, but it's not a must to watch in 3D. If I had it to do over again, I'd just watch in 2D. Star Trek, based on previews, will be an awesome 3D movie.

I thought some of it was good and some of it was meh at best. I thought they screwed up Extremis badly, and the Mandarin considering. the last scene? no chance in hell that ever happens anywhere in the comics. That's the only part that made me mad really.

Wasn't a fan of the Mandarin thing. At all. Thought they really botched that whole thing.

I finally got to see it, had a wreck on the way there lol.

I thought it was really good, i didn't have a problem with any of it. But im not a comics "nerd".

I agree. I mean I thought using the Mandarin and Extremis at the same time was smart, and then they screwed it all up. They didn't even make Extremis be what merged him with his suit into his skeleton. THAT could have been awesome if done right. Or explained his sleeping problems with part of his Demon in a Bottle storyline. ANYTHING but how they did it.

And even still. It all could've been salvaged if they hadn't ended it how they did. The stuff with pepper? no problem. but the "Clean Slate" protocol? no chance in hell.
