Is Bama next?

As Travis reported it wasnt dealt with. the letter had nothing to do with all thats tuff, Clays words not mine.

"Clay's assertion" would be more accurate. He is drawing connections that he can't prove actually exist and then comes to the conclusion that Alabama must have know well in advance. That's simply not true.

Clay could turn out to be 100% correct, but what he's running with right now doesn't leave me with the impression that he is.

The "Julio Jones: Man of Many Suits" article is simply racist. I never throw that term around, but it really is. Julio does not come from a poor family, and he gets Pell Grant money, and every single Alabama player wears a suit and tie every single gameday.

How many different suits was Tim Tebow photographed in during his time at Florida? I'm betting the number is well past 30.

Racism? Man, I thought Bamas fan base hit a low poising a tree, but calling this racist is beyond pathetic

LOL.Yep that one. Its hard to him to make up pictures. Guess he could be photoshoping them and set up the website and put the autographs up for sale then took them down. And also disguised as the owner and stood on the sideline of many Alabama games the past few years and next to Sabans wife. Its definately possible.:eek:lol:

Dude, read the article. I like Clay. I've appeared on his radio shows going back a few years. But saying that Julio can't possibly afford multiple suits because Clay only had one in college is ridiculous. It rests solely on the assumption that Julio is poor, which he's not. And why would one assume that Julio is poor?

Just went to read it because I honestly havent even looked at it and he is pretty right on with it. And he isnt the only one saying it. All I know is if i am a Bammer i am not feeling very easy about it. Esp not knowing what he is going to have up next and with the Yahoo story coming soon. I have lived in Alabama long enough to know what the reaction is going to be. Has been the same everytime. Bama fans always say..Its not us,there is no proof and there wont be,we did nothing wrong and will be cleared. Tennessee and/or Auburn is behind this and setting us up.Our players would never do this, the NCAA hates us and will do anything they can to destroy the most powerful team in the nation and history of athletics. I am sure there is more but thats off the top of my head and in just about everycase they have been wrong and they did do it. Never know Bama people may be right this time.

Before he got to UAT didnt his mom work at a fastfood restaurant? I have no idea just what I had heard from a few Bama fans. Then somehow his mom got a great job as a secretary for an attorney. again not sure how true that is but just what a few of my UAT fans said. Sounds pretty poor to me. Unless fastfood all of a sudden started paying some serious money.

Pictures speak a thousand words, but they only say what you want them to say. I could post a picture of Tyler Bray's tattoo and say "Bray must have gotten this tattoo in exchange for swag, just like the OSU players." But that would ignore the fact that Bray's family does pretty well for themselves.

While this store owner may be a booster, nothing about these photos constitutes a violation.

In spite of the insight you got from "Bama fans", Julio's family is not poor.

Thats why I asked i really didnt know, thats why i asked. But I have heard several say that. well i do find it funny that Bama people say auburn is guilty and scream up and down about it yet there is technically no proof yet. its just a given that it is true. But when it happens the other way there is no way its true and a few pictures dont mean anything. Pretty funny..Trust me i would be denying it too if it was my team but it truely doesnt help or mean a thing. Sounds like its only getting worse, ESPECIALLY if this yahoo story is on the Bams.

If the Yahoo story is on us, I'll probably go ahead and cancel Direct TV, because there won't be any reason for me to have it this fall.

Clay Travis simply doesn't have the track record Charles Robinson has.

In pre draft interviews Julio talked about growing up in a single parent house hold and how his mom worked for KFC and before that Church's chicken.

I'm not saying they were poor. But I seriously doubt he had the expendable income to afford multiple custom suits.

By the way, bringing Tebow into the discussion does not help your cause.

That elephant is as dead as their program will be soon. I had just said Bama dodged a bullet by not hiring Rich Rod but maybe they didnt. Guess Karma is a ***** as much as they have been harassing Auburn and talking so much smack about them. Now the best possible scenario is they both get nailed.

I'm not going to go through an analysis of every single outfit in each picture, but several of them show the same jacket with different pants, and the same pants with different jackets. It's also worth noting that Clay jumped to the conclusion that each suit came from the same store. It's a logical fallacy to assume that since Julio has been to that store, that every suit he owns came from that store.

Thankyou that is exactly what my buddies had told me. Guess Bamawriter was a little off on that. I didnt think that many bama fans could be wrong about their favorite player.

.

You just jumped in on another of Clay's fallacies: each suit was custom made. How can you possibly know that?

I own several suits that fit me like a glove, and I've never once had a suit custom made for me.

WOW..I can say I have never seen so much Denial in a long time. Stick with your guns though. innocent until proven otherwise. Since Bams say that to Auburn I will say it to them..oh wait??

I didn't say that she didn't work fast food, I said his family isn't poor. Like you said, she reportedly works for a law firm now.

Well you obviously have proof of where the Julio's threads come from. Care to share?

When your 6'4 and 215 + they are more than likely custom fitted. Especially with as ripped as he is. But hey who knows.

How does a single mother working fast food not be poor? Plus how did she all of a sudden have the skills and intelligence to work for an attorney? Would like to see what she pulls down a year and how many real hours she works. doubt there will be much papertrail to that one.

I will show proof of it when you show proof he paid for them, his Japanese and all the hundred other players that were there and them paying for theirs. I know when I was in college my favorite hangout was a suit store and just signing autographs to pass time. Sounds alot of fun to me. Forget hanging out with friends and partying and hooking up with all the hot coeds. Definately would be my choice. So I stand corrected, suit store hanging out must be the new thing College kids are doing now..
