Is Bama next?

Lol, ok so now ingram gets his suits there too, now that's groundbreaking

Must be nice to be so blinded by winning that you find this info laughable. If an article was posted with pics of Tennessee kids in a boosters suit shop, or any shop for that matter, I wouldn't be laughing in the land of self denial.

Again, the fact that it was sent to the mall kiosk is nitpicking. Especially if a lot of the signed gear was showing up at the kiosk. The same guy owned both stores. It's not like we sent it to the University Mall Starbucks and asked them to pass it on.

As far as Ingram's suit goes, if he was involved with the sale and/or benefited from the sale, then that is certainly an issue. The fact that the store sold its merchandise is not a huge deal, even if they gave it a "Heisman-winner" mark-up. Some DA Bama fan would gladly fork over his life savings for something like that.

WOW, ok.. Its obvious how this is going to play out. Im through discussing it with you, its obvious UAT is clean and nothing is going on. Just stay under your rock and we will let you know when its over and how it goes down. But it has to be concerning that something new continues to come out. Plus like i said if this was added to Auburn's accusations, you guys would be non stop on how crooked and wrong they were and that this is enough to shut them down for a few years. but since its your school it cant be true. I will be honest If this was UT's stuff, I promise you I would be concerned and worried about what was coming out next. Thats just me though.

I'm not in denial. I've continually said that something could come out that actually makes this an issue. But Clay Travis has posted something like 7 columns of assumptions and suggestions that don't actually detail a single violation.

I guess I missed the part where ingrams suit was for sale??

Im sure it was hanging up there just for appearance. Ok..DENIAL..Hey its cool stick with your boys, you guys should be used to this by now and know the drill.

Again, can't read the SbB article. Was Ingram's suit for sale? This dude had tons of gear on display in his store that were not for sale. Does SbB say that the suit for for sale or not?

LOL..Ok..Signed jerseys with players names hanging in a Kiosk? Nobody is even supposed to have Jerseys with players name on them while they are in school except for the school and the players. No biggie we will see how it plays out.

I think it will be hard to prove wrongdoing here unless either the owner or the athletes involved were very careless. With that said you would agree this "relationship" is problematic and all things considered a violation of NCAA rules was most likely committed whether it can be proven or not?

My quote was at GOT TWELVE not you.

So, UT doesn't hold autograph sessions during Spring Training? UT players don't sign autographs for fans during Media Days and outside the stadium after games? Check Ebay. You can find something signed by just about any player you want. I would prefer that this guy not display the stuff he owns, but that, in and of itself, is not a violation.

Seriously, jason, the suggestion that the signatures of current players only stay in the posession of the schools or the players is something you must not have thought out before you posted it.

Yes we do have autograph sessions, but players comin gin and out isnt an autograph session. I didnt say signatures stay in possesion of the school DA, I said Jerseys with players names are not supposed to be for the public while they are still in school. Unreal..Im out, i feel less educated after having this talk with you and your boyfriend on here. All I can say is we will see how it goes..Peace

Given that every other picture shows player gear that was not for sale, I'm not sure why you'd assume that Ingram's suit was.

As for the disappearing website, I didn't hear the interview you heard, but Travis hasn't said a word about it on his blog.

Big difference when you are on campus or even off campus when its a team function and coaches are present, vs numerous players hanging out at a boosters store. Keep denying man, I'm not just picking on Bama I think this goes on all over college football but there is A LOT to this story we haven't even heard yet. I can't believe Saban is stupid enough to let players be alone with boosters, whether he thinks anything wrong is going on it not.

Players can give their gear to whoever they want. They simply cannot profit off of it. The fact that a jersey has a name on it does not mean it cannot leave the control of the school or player.

Really, really hard to keep players away from boosters all together.

Like I said, I wish these players would think about this stuff before they do it, because it causes issues like this, even if there was no violation. But if there isn't a violation, it's kinda hard for a coach to tell them they can't do something.

Love seeing the bammers get all upset and defensive. Whether anything comes of this or not, it was fun to see.

Do you really believe abunch of 18-20 yo kids are gonna spend time with some old guy at a suit shop if they aren't getting something in return? Also give him autographed memorabilia that is worth thousands of dollars and they aren't gonna profit from it? They may not have gotten free suits but you better believe they got something.

Given that lots of Bama players have appeared in this dude's commercials after they left school, it wouldn't shock me if there was an agreement from the beginning that they'd get easy work in the future in exchange for swag now. It would certainly be a violation, but it would be impossible to prove.

I just think with Cams pay to play, OSU's mess and all the Willie Lyles stuff that this story is just gonna get bigger and uncover a lot of past and current violations.
