…and I'm sure that is quite bothersome to them. They can't stay away because their success has always been based in a comparison to LV basketball and since we are in a down cycle, they can't make that distinction anymore. They have no real rivalry anymore like they did with us 8 or so years ago. It bothers ESPN as well which is why they want the series to resume. I expect those last 3 losses mean a lot more to them than they let on.

Name calling and rants are better left to the weak of mind and soul. Ivy League offended someone with each post, thus she ran when most of us ignored her.

Civil, fun debates about a topic (all things Lady Vols) we love is what this board should encompass. When personal attacks are involved, it only makes those involved look less than at their best.

I've been critical of Holly only because she's paid the huge bucks to produce and has failed horribly this year. But I'd never wish her anything but happiness and success. She's actually a fun, sweet, loyal woman with way more wonderful attributes than not. I personally think she's in over her head as the Lady Vols head coach. I desperately want only the best for my alma mater and for what Pat so inspirationally created.

Go Lady Vols!

C'mon man you guys bring up UCONN on this board more than the visiting fans with all your hypotheticals. (Imagine if Geno had this talent lol. IMO most of the current LV wouldn't even play for UCONN. Poor passers, low bball IQ, poor shooting, and so on) So I guess you guys love them as well.

Self-entitled fan? Nope. Just posted the only stat that USED to matter when talking about the two programs, championships. But since things have been ALL BAD for the LVs since those back-to-back titles, I guess it's okay to brag about winning the last 3 regular season meetings.

Seriously, did you not pay attention to her posts and realize that she was doing things others were not in terms of her insulting nature? She went extremely personal outlining, in detail, how people were failures at their life if they deigned to disagree with her and then justified her arrogance by listing her resume and educational background as being so superior to us pissant state school grads. The capper was her saying that she doesn't wear Tennessee gear beyond our borders because of us fans and the embarrassment it would cause her to have to explain supporting a redneck team like Tennessee to her pretentious Ivy League grads.

So, yes, there is a difference and she's not here for one reason, because she is a coward who can't own up to her failed predictions that were wrapped in sanctimonious condescension. She should be here to take her medicine, but she slinked out the back door as the spineless nitwit that she is.

Interestingly, Ivy disappeared right after another poster called her/him out for being a major troll. He claimed that Ivy had been exposed on another sites as someone masquerading as a LV fan for the purpose of trashing the fan base. I don't know if that is the case but Ivy stopped posting right after than supposed revelation.

I highly doubt it, just because Tennessee wasn't exactly basking in their glory at the time that she was sharpening her claws. It would be one thing if they were at their peak, but that wasn't the case.

Although, I wouldn't put it past someone who calls themselves "Ivy League" on a message board. I mean, who does that?

No, I vaguely remember her in the middle of a lot of fighting among posters many months ago but didn't have time to pay that much attention. From what everyone has said she did not come off as a considerate person.
