The incident to which you are referring has been settled. Initially the Pope was lied to by Chilean church officials about abuse allegations. Once he discovered the truth, he axed over 30 priests and bishops in Chile. Francis has done more to stop child abuse than any other Pope. Nice try to smear a Pope without having all the facts.

Yeah...another priest busted today in Italy because the 11 year old girl he was molesting recorded it. Local church folks wouldnt believe her but when she went to the TV station and showed them the recording people started to listen. For the record...ANY person...youth Pastor, priest, teacher or cop...it doesnt matter. ANYONE who takes away the innocence of a child needs to be locked up and then IF they are deemed ready to be released should have to wear an ankle monitor for life in the US and be well known to be a child molester. Period. The best scientific minds among doctors and psychologists agree that there is no such thing as rehabilitation for this sickness of the mind...they offend society over and over until they die unless they are kept completely away from children. It is a mental disease without a cure.

Honestly...if you dont have kids then I dont give a damn about your opinion on this one. You have no skin in the game. 1 in 4 girls are sexually assaulted in their lifetimes. Boys are less but I believe that's because when they grow into men they can keep that from happening whereas women are still vulnerable as adults. If you dont have kids then you arent at risk and have no skin in the game so to speak.

I have posted this several times before:

Pull up your local sherriff's website and look at the map of child molesters in your neighborhood. You will be shocked. Bet there is 1 within a mile or 2 in all 4 cardinal directions...unless you live in a remote area and not the suburbs

Then think about having an 11 year old daughter like I have. Lock and load. I will mercilessly torture any sorry sack of sheit that lays a hand on my daughter.
