Is the world better off with the nation of Israel?

Has nothing to do with Israel at all. They murder who they want to get what they want.

That is not true.

If the Arabs (Moslems) put down their weapons today there would be no more violence. If the Israelis put down their weapons today there would be no more Israel.

I'm just curious as to why a God of Christianity would favor anyone over the other....besides the believers in Jesus Christ?!

I'm assuming the quote you quoted was from the bible?!

As to Jesus. For believers, He is the 2nd Person of the Trinity. The triune God. You know that.

The bible teaches God favors the Jews because he chose them out to be His people. No more, no less.

Deuteronomy 7:7–9

7 It was not because you were more in number than any other people that the Lord set his love on you and chose you, for you were the fewest of all peoples, 8 but qit is because the Lord loves you and is keeping rthe oath that he swore to your fathers, that the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, sthe faithful God twho keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,

You could look up why the Old and New Testamants are, and in particular the Abrahamic convenant.

...Saudi Arabia was appointed to chair UN Human Rights Council, and the UN appointed Saudi Arabia to its women's rights commision as well. Which was after the Yemen war crimes started. How can anything they say ever be taken seriously."...

I agree non violent protestors should be allowed to protest. When destruction and violence starts, it can and should be met with enough force to stop it.
However todays news is as expected.

From YNet today:

..."Hamas leader in Gaza Yahya Sinwar, who arrived at a protest tent camp east of Khan Yunis in the southern part of the strip, told demonstrators that...sic... "the demonstrations would continue, telling the crowds: "We will uproot the borders, we will pluck out their hearts, and we will pray in Jerusalem."

Hmm, allowing a region to determine it's own future. What a novel idea.

Obadiah is coming soon.

This Obadiah?

Nope.

This one.

Obadiah 1

15 “For the day of the Lord draws near on all the nations.
As you have done, it will be done to you.
Your dealings will return on your own head.
16 “Because just as you drank on My holy mountain,
All the nations will drink continually.
They will drink and [k]swallow
And become as if they had never existed.
17 “But on Mount Zion there will be those who escape,
And it will be holy.
And the house of Jacob will possess their possessions.
18 “Then the house of Jacob will be a fire
And the house of Joseph a flame;
But the house of Esau will be as stubble.
And they will set [l]them on fire and consume [m]them,
So that there will be no survivor of the house of Esau,”
For the Lord has spoken.

The 'exceptionalists' are simply those that believe Israel has a God given manifest destiny to reform as a nation in the land of Israel. By no means are all Jews or others who are Zionists to be included among the exceptionalists.

I think most reasonable people can agree with that.

I think most reasonable people can agree with that.

Of course reasonable people can...

Not all Jews are Zionists....most aren't...

But, Zionism is alive and well today....however, let's not be fooled that prejudices are immune to the Jewish faith...or God's chosen ones...

And what do you expect when unarmed protesters are being shot dead by Israel?! You said a few days ago that according to "Israeli reports" 11 out of the 17 were terrorist?! Was there any confirmation on this or was this slanted propaganda?

Suppose 11 ex-cons...or even further defined as white nationalist(now labelled terrorists) are protesting, unarmed, against our government...

Is it okay to shoot and kill them because they are bad guys(terrorists) and their ideology is anti-US government policies?

Don’t cross or mess with the fence in any way or you’ll be shot. This is known as A DMZ. You get in it you get shot. No questions asked.

I’m not sure why anyone is surprised

Borders arbitrarily drawn by the Israeli police state? Murder is much less problematic when the state gives you license.
