Is the world better off with the nation of Israel?

My rules don't apply...I obviously get it!

It's 3rd world country like on your family's border...let's kill innocent people...

Israel has NEVER abided by international law...their excuses are those of victims....always will be...

You leave us alone and we won’t kill you (lol)

Every holiday in Israel is “they tried to kill us....we won....let’s eat”.

An opposing military that declared Palestinians could not be on Palestinian land, which he was on? And then laugh at the murder?

They will never do wrong in your eyes.

I think what everyone needs to remember is that the commandment reads, "thou shalt not kill unless inside the arbitrary made man border as decided by the Israelis."

Sounds like they killed themselves.

No doubt. Doesn’t hurt to have a little push I guess though.

At a gathering point east of Gaza City, organizers urged demonstrators to burst through the fence, telling them Israeli soldiers were fleeing their positions, even as they were reinforcing them.

And even odder...

Farther from the fence, food stalls sold snacks, sandwiches and juice, while loud music played in an oddly carnival atmosphere

of all the things to protest, the embassy move is beyond dumb.

It’s a symbolic loss for the Palestinians. The rest of the western world decided to keep kicking this can down the road. What we don’t hear brought up much was a law was passed in the US in 1995 mandating the US move it’s embassy to Jerusalem. Trump was the first POTUS to address that squarely. And the Palestinians know it.

You fellas never disappoint.

Israel is going to control all of Jerusalem. If you think otherwise you’re setting yourself up for disappointment.

On a lighter note but related to controlling land how you liking AZ now? Did you already live there prior to buying the house or is this your first spring/summer?

"At the barrier, young men threw stones and tried to launch kites carrying flames in hopes of burning crops on the other side. Most of the demonstrators, though, were peaceful, protesting the loss of their homes and villages and the embassy move.

Occasional sporadic gunfire could be heard over the noise of the crowd, and a constant stream of ambulances roared back and forth from the fence, ferrying away the wounded.

Nirma Attalah, 29, said the deaths were just galvanizing Gaza residents to keep on demonstrating despite weeks of losses.

“My brother was shot in the head in this place,” she said, adding that it was two weeks earlier. She had come on Monday with her whole extended family to the protest.

“We are here for Jerusalem, for Palestinian land,” she said.

Israel dropped leaflets urging Palestinians to stay away from the fence.

“Save your lives and work on building your futures,” the leaflets said."

We should have a blind vote to see if people can figure out if this is a tums, D4H, or hog post.

Hey, if those people wouldn't have acted a fool they wouldn't have gotten killed. They were trying to send fire kites, throwing rocks and attempting to break the fence. WTH did they expect to the Israelis to do?

I don't care who wins, I just want peace and I just don't want to be on a side.

Been here 6 years and I love it. I miss the south, but I love the weather here 9 months of the year, the sunshine nearly every day, and the ability to see 100 miles in any direction.

The biggest problem with Phoenix is most people have recently moved here. Very few families go more than a generation back and few people take ownership of their communities. When we moved to a new neighborhood in east TN, we had two dozen neighbors stop by to welcome us. Not one in this neighborhood. Not a single one. People are fairly friendly, just not outgoing.
