I don't think you're being a pumper and I'm not trying to be a nega, I'd love for them to come out focused on Saturday. I enjoy your posts. I'm serious about my concerns, but I'm also venting, I've lived in Georgia for 25 years and I've had to do it on here not anywhere else.I think it goes hand in hand. We haven't matched with Missouri for a while now , it's always a track meet with them...losing to vandy is inexcusable just like GSU is. Idk what it was late last year to have those beatdowns but I think it was related to depth and we were down only like 5 OL. I will wait to make my judgement after this Saturday as I think we will a very focused team. I don't think I'm being a sunshine pumper, because I was very vocal about the loss but after seeing this tweet that one of the upperclassmen made, it makes sense as to why we are gonna be seeing so many freshmen play. It might get worse before it gets better but I wanna see better effort against BYU.
Yes, it really is. College kids are still kids.
You got all that from one simple tweet? Who said he wasn't embarrassed? What is dumb is that a current player on the team who happens to be part of one of the worst losses in the program's history isn't embarrassed by the loss? Not only that he wasn't even good enough to play on said terrible football team, no I would be ashamed to walk down the street if I were him much less make jokes about my own suckness.
If I had a dollar for every dumb thing I have said on here..........and I'm 42.I don’t know why you just don’t implement a no social media posting policy while in season. These guys aren’t going to make the best decisions at their age so why not just help them out a bit by cutting off their ability to educate the masses on their daily doings. Nothing good can come of them posting on social media during the season.
Ridiculous? Why?Got no respect for him, but suggesting to kick him off the team is ridiculous.
If you say so. The fact that college "kids" are considered kids somehow is a big part of the reason so many act like it.Yes, it really is. College kids are still kids.
Y’all need to chill, don’t be so sensitive. I was crushed over this loss as much as anyone else, and I fully support Pruitt, but I shared this on Facebook with a similar “This loss sucks, but I have to admit I laughed” post:

Run him to death etc, etc but kicking off the team? Come on lol. Not talking about you, but many on here thought BT didn't nothing really at all and he didn't hit his girlfriend but said awful things to her and shouldn't be kicked off the team and that it was just word.........but retweet a funny meme about our loss on Saturday and same people want that kid kicked out on the street.Ridiculous? Why?
Chit BC, we are a crap show and just got beat....not by a last second field goal mind you, we got beat by Georgia St. I know, you know that, Lol, but rumors errywhere about the team not giving a crap and this little thinks its funny?
Disagree, but its ridiculous? Son....

Plenty of fans made similar jokes
Fans don't have the right to attack players like they do on social media. What he posted was dumb but the response from UT fans was the actual embarrassmentFans aren't players, it's a pretty easy distinction. If he were embarrassed he wouldn't be on social media in the first place the day after a loss, and if so has he tweeted that he was embarrassed by the loss considering most tweet about everything in life. A fan has a right to joke, it's all we have left. Other than the uniform color and past players, what exactly is a UT fan supposed to tweet about? The games aren't free. Many fans spend hundreds of dollars just to attend one game and expecting a halfway decent product isn't too much to ask. It's not as if you just walk up to the stadium and enter freely.
Fans pay big money every year to go watch our team and when we see performances like that and then see a player tweet something likes this how could we not be mad? Come on man. If he thinks it's funny then he can go transfer somewhere else for all I care.I think adults attacking a college kid on Twitter is pathetic
I don't think anyone is suggesting that it was funny or that people shouldn't be upset about it. I think the problem is when those people attack the guy on social media.Fans pay big money every year to go watch our team and when we see performances like that and then see a player tweet something likes this how could we not be mad?
