Only at UT are the fans the embarrassment after losing to an FCS level team, frankly everything that has happened the last decade is the "fans fault". If this were any other school, there wouldn't be any fans. The fans of UT are extremely patient and loyal. It's the players, administration, and coaches, with a few notable exceptions, that have sucked for the past decade.

Fans personally attacking players on Twitter are an embarrassment to all fan bases. Seems UT fans just take extra pride in their use of that platform. That reaction is worse than a badly timed joke

When I was in school I remember seeing players out having a good time after losses to bama or Florida. They don't take losses as personally as fans

We're not talking about the same thing. I could care less what responses he got if he was dumb enough to put it out there. I do care that he was dumb enough to put it out there.... but I'm more concerned he felt that to begin with.

I spend my share of time being upset with the fan base. But I'm currently more upset with the team. The fan base didn't lay down and roll over Saturday.

Now, I've watched people on this site talk about the lack of IQ these players have not being able to learn plays. Yep...flip this roster as fast as you can. For fans thinking that a coach can give some rah, rah speech and turn any player into someone who gives a damn and will bust his butt for his school and team is being delusional. We have to depend on players like this because we simply don't have talented players with the experience to help us right now. When Pruitt graduates his first class, that's when I'll judge the man. If he's still lacking at that point, I'm all in for a replacement. Until then he's trying to fight a war with soldiers who don't really care.
