The left and many others will not acknowledge the truth: that the only type of muslim that can fit into western society is an insincere Muslim that chooses to ignore most of what their "holy" book and their "prophet" tells them to do...such as lie, abuse and oppress women, and murder. Repeatedly these things are commanded in the suras of the quran.

Christianity doesnt have this problem. It teaches that all those things are wrong and sinful, and is the moral standard that most western laws are based on. While many claiming to be Christians do bad things every day...they cannot claim it to be Gods will. Muzzies will strap an 11 year old girl in a bomb vest and send her into a crowded market to murder dozens or hundreds while killing herself...and claim it glorifies their god.

Those are the "good" muslims. The terrorists. They are the obedient ones. They are the ones who do what they are told, who follow the teachings of their prophets. Are they batsheit crazy and Hell bound?? Sure. But they are sincere in their faith

This is what the left doesnt understand or will not admit. These people they claim to be "moderate" muzzies that "fit in" western culture??? They are like "Christians " that went to church a couple times with grandma when they were a kid but have never gone as an adult of their own free will. Insincere, lazy followers that ignore their claimed religion but try to live moral lives and be good neighbors and citizens.

That's the only kind of muslim that will ever be acceptable in the western world where women, children, and other religions have rights and lives. The real muslims will always be the terrorists. I worked with one in college (prior to 9/11) who said he’d cut my head off. He said he took trips to South America to “train.” I’ve known plenty who are wonderful people. They’re wonderful because they don’t take their faith literally, not like my coworker did. I’m all for apathetic Muslims.

Which has nothing at all to do with my post. Nothing. Read the thread title again. We are debating whether Islam is a religion of peace. Your subjective experience with insincere muslims who disobey their book and their prophet doesnt change what the religion itself actually is.

I agree with you that muslims like you mention are the good ones. Good people. They are not good muslims though...they are disobedient and lazy in their faith. They dont do as they are told to do. That is the problem...not with them as people...but with the doctrine and islam itself.

Islam is considered one of the four Abrahamic religions, which also includes Christianity, Judaism and Baha'i. All four religions worship the same God as Abraham. The only difference in God between Christianity and Judaism/Islam is the latter two do not acknowledge Jesus as part of the Godhead. The Islamic god is not a moon god or dis pater like many people incorrectly say.

Only fundamentalist evangelical Christians believe Islam worships a different God than they. The majority of Christianity disagrees.

Well I’m not sure anybody is equating Christ worship with anything else. Nevertheless, that still doesn’t take away the fact none of you would exist without your father and all three of you can be traced back to him.
