Because Islam as a faith is not the enemy. It is the extremists on the very far end of the spectrum that are the true enemies that we are fighting against.
I'd venture to say that all rational Muslim people are ashamed that some of those terrorists call themselves "Muslims".
most people won't
Hey we never bombed Saudi Arabia did we?
Didn't see anything wrong with the billboard... Tastefully done, in fact.
For the past 8 to 10 years (if not more) people of the Islamic faith have in many ways allowed their religion to become hijacked by the fringes of their faith. We have had to deal with the fundamentalists first hand because the Islamic faith either would not or could not deal with them. Perhaps this is a step in the right direction for moderate Muslims, to get their message out there and marginalize the whack jobs among them. Why should we discourage this? It seems like a positive step to me, they are getting their message out there and as long as they are on the up and up it shouldn't bother us, doesn't matter if you're Christian or any other faith for that matter, it's a positive step isn't it?
Most fools who stand for nothing will fall for anything.
No we bombed Christian Serbia to advance the cause of islam in the Balkans, go figga!
Then here are some you will probably love.
There is another with a green background and white letters; SHARIA LAW IS HATE, but it is too large to post here.
That sort of regurgitated propaganda betrays a deep ignorance of the true nature of islam and of all history since islam began.
Unfortunately too many people believe just what you say.
Let me ask you this, is it fair that we bend over backwards to appease these fruitcakes while in the countries they come from it can mean a death sentence to mention Christ in public or to have a Bible or wear a cross????
Can you possibly be for introducing islamic sharia law into american court systems???

Islam is the enemy. If you have researched it, you would understand. It teaches to kill all those who are not followers of Islam.
I don't think Islam is the enemy anymore than I think Christianity is the enemy. I still think both are nonsense though.
But the deafening silence from the Muslim community everytime there is a suicide attack speaks volumes. I'm still waiting to hear from all these moderates claiming Islam is a religion of peace. Islamic leaders speaking out publicy about these incidents would go a long way.

If they were to come out and denounce one of their own, they'd be killed.
If I were to go out on national tv and denounce Billy Graham, I highly doubt I'd have to watch my back.
