You might be surprised about the amount of hate mail you'd receive, probably some threats as well. I do agree though that the degree of threat would be much smaller though.

Maybe, maybe not. But I can guarantee he would not actually be killed.

In the past Christians have been every bit as ruthless as Muslims are today, if not worse. I will not go so far as to say that Islam is a religion of peace. I agree that Islam has a problem with many of it's followers and leaders who do not speak out against the slaughter of the innocent, I have brought this up many times.

I have often wondered why more leaders do not speak out against the terrorists and suicide bombers. The only answer I can come up with are these answers, 1) Some are afraid to become targets themselves 2) There is a significant enough amount that either sympathize or outright adhere to the belief that those who commit these acts are actually defending Islam and the leaders fear they will lose favor and following 3) Many do but they simply don't get the air time and publicity those who preach hate receive.

You never cease to amaze me, in every attempt to take up for Islam you have to be critical of Christianity. Most of your posts as well as others keep saying well the Christians did too. This day and time Christians are not killing people for not being Christians.

The people complaining in this thread live mostly where?

Sorry, but you did not qualify your blanket "Christians get a pass" comment.
It is still wrong in my opinion, when it comes to government or public places.

"Ask them for their help. Thereby make the religion of Islam agreeable to them. And when you are resolved in the matter of religion concerning fighting your enemy you will have the advantage."

Obviously many posters on this board havn't the foggiest idea of what ALL muslims believe nor a clue about the basic tenets of islam.

Back in horse and buggy days they would probably be at the front of the line to purchase some magic snake oil.

Islam is the religion of peace in that when all have submitted and surrendered, then there will be peace.
(In fourteen hundred years this has never happened where islam has achieved dominance, but like socialists who also have a history of complete failure, their fanatical beliefs keep them struggling onward.)

According to the authoritative Arabic text, Al-Taqiyya Fi Al-Islam: “Taqiyya [deception] is of fundamental importance in Islam. Practically every Islamic sect agrees to it and practices it. We can go so far as to say that the practice of taqiyya is mainstream in Islam, and that those few sects not practicing it diverge from the mainstream…Taqiyya is very prevalent in Islamic politics, especially in the modern era.”

"If you [Muslims] are under their [infidels'] authority, fearing for yourselves, behave loyally to them, with your tongue, while harbouring inner animosity for them… Allah has forbidden believers from being friendly or on intimate terms with the infidels in place of believers – except when infidels are above them [in authority]. In such a scenario, let them act friendly towards them.”

Since when is stating facts being critical of Christianity? Most of your posts as well as others keep saying well the Christians did too. Probably has something to do with the fact that they did. This day and time Christians are not killing people for not being Christians.

Did I not say almost the exact same thing you said about Christians today?

When was the last time a Christian killed someone in the name of Christianity? Muslims kill people regularly just because they are not muslims.

I never said they did. I simply said you must have missed the post where I said that Christians are not killing others for their beliefs in modern times.

Does the era in which Christians killed muslims for being muslims really matter?

With all the info on the world wide web, you'd think they'd be better educated on Islam. :banghead2:

It does because I am talking about what is going on now. I have no control over what happened way before I was born. I know what is going on today and has been for several years and will continue, And that is acts of war against us.

In the 20th century many millions of professing Christians were slaughtered in the name of advancing the cause of islam.

The era of the Crusades matters in the sense that one should know the cause for the Crusades in the first place and isn't too taken in by islamic propaganda on the topic.

The reason for the Crusades was to liberate Christians from the oppression of islam in the Holy land and the main reason for some of the brutal acts was some the conditions they found there, such as Christinas held in slavery who had been castrated to make them more docile and with their tongues cut out so they could not speak.

That's a start.

With all the info on the world wide web, you'd think they'd be better educated on Islam. :banghead2:

You can lead blind mules to water but you can't make them see. :)

Obviously none have ever heard of the Arabic proverb about the nose of the camel under the tent.

They'll probably still be happy in dhimitude if they can get Grey Poupon to go on their camel turds. :p

Here we go... I wonder how many people in this thread have actually spent any time with Muslims?

Not much, but what does that have to do with anything? I can watch 3000 of my fellow citizens die on 1 day because of them and that tells me all I need to know.

This makes about as much sense as saying you watched a person murdered by a black or hispanic man so therefore all black or hispanic people are your enemy, and that one act by an individual tells you all you need to know about the race.

Sounds kind of bigoted, doesn't it?

I saw on the news that a woman got mauled by dogs, and it told me all I needed to know about canines.

I have watched them drag burned Americans through their streets and hang them from bridges and cut others heads off, so if me hating that being done to innocent Americans is being prejudiced against evil muslims, then I guess I am guilty as charged.

I would bet #2 is the majority of the problem.

Priests molest little boys, its been in the news. That tells me all I need to know about Catholics. They are all child molesters.

See how I did that?

The Catholic religion does not teach molesting little boys, like Islam teaches them to kill those who don't believe as they do.

See how I did that?

From a murdering, torturing, corrupt, power grabbing perspective...medevil Christianity and Islam today are no different. It's just especially troubling with Islam because they now have 21st century weapons.

Your "the Christians done it too" arguement has already been played. I am not concerned about what happened thousands of years ago, I am concerned with how an evil religion wants this country to not exist anymore and us all to be killed.
