Israel vs Palestinians

Not sure this is great logic for 815 civilians making you weep and 30K+ civilians making you shrug and call for more. Most civilians in Palestine didn’t kick anyone in the balls, just don’t understand talking about them as if they don’t matter or aren’t people
Cause and effect.
If the 815 doesn’t happen then neither does the whatever made up number we want to put on it

That doesn’t clarify anything though.
9/11 definitely justified our response. Albeit not at the right people imo and we definitely should have come home after “mission accomplished”

You think Israel is over the line. I do not, though I would have handled things way differently. I’m on record as to what I would have done.

As you don’t like what they’re doing…..how would you have responded if you were in charge and your people had been attacked?

I did read, and your analogy still sucks. You mentioned nuking the whole middle east. We are used to your ridiculous posts so there is that.
Read but didn’t comprehend, apparently. That’s the logical conclusion of that line of thinking anyway; if I have the nuclear codes and someone kills my friend, I can nuke their country all I want for “revenge” because proportionality doesn’t matter, right?

Your hyperbole is noted.

Exactly. Guy next door kicks you in the balls, you dont kick him in the shins. You knock his teeth out to make sure that doesn't happen again. (Except in this case its about the 1000th time the guy has put his hands on you for the analogy to be accurate...AND he walked right up in YOUR yard to attack you so Castle Doctrine certainly applies.)
So all the Palestinian attacks on Israelis over the years is justified too? Because there's always something the other side did that's used to justify attacking their people.

Absolutely. They both claim it’s to the death and they have more than proven it with their actions. It’s not up to us to decide what they want or need. We should get out of the way and let them have at it and settle it once and for all.
And we shouldn’t pay for it either. Not the fight, and not the reconstruction.

In my view, there isn't a right or wrong.

I am typically bias against the Palestinian side because of how Islam has historically treated Christians throughout history, notably the Christians that lived in the Middle East as well as their conquests/violence against what we call the Byzantine Empire and the Roman provinces of Africa, Egypt, Syria, Judea, Anatolia, etc. The Ottoman conquests in Europe are also note worthy. Unlikely with Christianity and the Crusades or Reconquista, there has never been a public acknowledgement or call out regarding the millions of Christians slaughtered in the name of Jihad.

That being said, I do think the Jews are starting to do some very bad acts as well and are not necessarily the "good" guys here. Sometimes, both parties can be in the wrong.

I don't think that's strange at all. 9/11 didn't justify us nuking every country in the Middle East and killing millions of civilians. You can't just say anything goes every time something bad happens to you
I don't disagree, but you can't keep going back and forth with no security for decades and centuries either.......

For decades the UN and others have had the opportunity to resolve this issue and both sides refuse as they are both determined to see it to the same end. Both want the nation currently called Israel to themselves. Neither side will relent.

Agreements have been struck and then ignored for decades. Both sides are to blame.

But we must be honest, Hamas did everything they could to hurt, kill and desecrate as many Israeli Jews as they could that day. If Israel's response was proportionate to that end the West Bank and Gaza would be closer to zero Palestinians than 2. Something million.

^^^ this needs to be reposted on every page of this thread moving forward. Sums it all up perfectly.

Not our problem...morally, financially, nor militarily.

Not the war. Not the reconstruction. This is what Hamas and the "palestinians" have wanted for half a century. All the while being offered "the 2 state solution". Now they finally get what they want.
