We are talking about people who were given 15 years to prove themselves but instead made themselves more dependent on water and power, dig up infrastructure to make weapons then attacked the people who they depend on for life sustaining needs.

The people in Western NC are for sure. Same folks, other side of the mountain. To say our government sucks azz is a drastic understatement. Lets send Ukraine another $100BN though so they sacrifice another generation of men in a war they can never possibly win. IF Ukraine ever recovers...it will be a century or 2.

Israelis have already compensated the rich Palestinian land owners for a lot of the land in Gaza. So when they do take over Gaza officially, nobody can call it theft.

You seem to think this is over. This is just a hostage exchange and phase 1 of their negotiations.

I don’t think we see a phase 2 without Hamas relinquishing power. Which is a good thing

No, not at all. It's the same deal that was offered several months ago, Bibi was probably banking on the Trump admin being more supportive of Israel and then found out that our interest was just the return of U.S. hostages (and Hamas realized that orgs like Hezbollah weren't going to help them)

What do you think they succeeded in, besides leveling a bunch of hospitals and killing tens of thousands of civilians (including many of the hostages)? You agreed it was a terrible look and now framing it as a success?

They killed several of Hamas' senior leadership and five figures worth of combatants.
