It was a way to counter and undermine the Palestinian authority in the West Bank and keep West Bank and Gaza separate. Then BB continued to fund Hamas through Qatar

That doesn’t seem as nefarious as you’re trying to make it.

Sending aid to Gaza and money to Hamas is 2 different things. Pretty crazy you don’t think funding terrorism is nefarious

And yea I’ve already stated we should Stop giving money to terrorist it only hurts innocent civilians

Sending aid to Gaza is sending aid to terrorists. You think Hamas doesn't take control of all the aid sent? Come on

I agree. However I was saying Israel has been doing both, they helped the rise of Hamas and propped them up then after they got in power they funneled money to Hamas through Qatar on top of the aid and support getting sent to Gaza

Has Hamas always been a terrorist group? You told me you’ve studied this for hundreds of hours. Surely you know they were not always terrorists, right?

And doesn’t “aid to Gaza” get stolen by Hamas? So why continue to “fund terrorism” especially if it is “nefarious”?

They’ve always been a terrorist group. They were started in the 80’s during the intifada, Ahmed Yassin killed innocent Jews and had tried to attack Israel on multiple occasions.

I’ve stated over and over in this thread stop sending money I don’t support it.

They were 100% a terrorist group. BB was also funneling money directly to the Hamas through Qatar for the last 10+ years. Can’t believe you defend funneling money to terrorists

I don’t follow the MSM at all, they’re a bunch of liars and manipulators.

The article you sent is misleading as it makes it seem Haim Ramon is the only one to talk about the deal. He’s not, yitzhak segev had talked about it and stated Israel was the cause of Hamas forming and said it was his biggest mistake. Said he was giving a budget to prop up Islamic militias to counter rising power there. David Barnea who is still serving in the mossad stated BB continued the policy to fund Hamas through Qatar. Yossi Cohen has stated the policy to fund Hamas through Qatar was a mistake and things got out of control

I also believe (not 100% sure) there was 2 cabinets members that resigned within the last 5 years because of this policy BB had

Is it possibly these guys that worked in the Israeli government and mossad lied? Sure, but I find that hard to believe

Idk how you’ve spent hundreds of hours researching this and yet still believe that Hamas has always been a terrorist group. You may want to put a few hundred more hours in.
