There’s numerous people putting out numbers and theyre estimates we likely won’t know anything for months or years. There was a recent study that concluded palestinians MoH numbers are underestimated and it’s up to 78k but more than likely around 64k, if you take that number and subtract Israel saying 20k Hamas members have been killed it’s around the 40k range.
Sorry please forgive me. I’m sure bamawriter gives has written much better studies than one of the most respected health journals in the world.Good grief. As study that includes social media obituaries? One that assumes deaths based upon hospitalizations reported by Hamas, but somehow assumes that Hamas didn't count those that died in the hospital?
There is no way anyone in their right mind can take this seriously.
It is but you'll deny it because you reject what goes against your preconceived notions. No but I’m sure what’s about to follow is super relevant.
You lost the plot again. The issue is protests against an arrest for rape with the perpetrator being arrested by his government. Why would the U.S. be the arresting party for war crimes? Heck, the U.S. was bombing wedding parties.
Actually it happened under GW as well, not murder that I know but torture for sure. Of course, it probably happens under every President, they just keep it quiet.
Under U.S. law foreign people have no rights including journalist. The President could send a nuke down on an awards ceremony for journalist on purpose and the current U.S. position is not only is it legal, there is no judicial review.... even if the target is American. (the last part to me is wrong, but not the first part) What Hillary was wanting to do to Julian actually was not against the Law, now the reason why should wanted it done was.
Of course governments can operate without the support of the people. And I’m inclined to believe that the overwhelming majority of the Burmese don’t support theirs. It is but you'll deny it because you reject what goes against your preconceived notions.
Governments / those in power can and do do what they do without the support of the people. The government in Myanmar is one that does. The big majority of the Burmese / Bamar people don't support it, yet it continues to function and even wage war on several fronts. It keeps its grip the same way Hamas does, by eliminating rivals and stifling dissent. It's been in power overtly or covertly for 60 years and there's no sign of it stepping down any time soon.
1200 is a lot for a sneak attack. I believe the problem was capability and not desire of the people. They took their best shot. And the people rejoiced.Maybe maybe not. It’s really subjective. My personal opinion the majority would much rather live in peace. There’s obviously a large portion that do want Jews dead and Israel to be destroyed however I don’t think that’s the majority
I think if it was the large majority that are nothing more than terrorist we can both agree there’d be a lot more than 1200 Israelis dead, no?
Yes I agree it’s a lot for a sneak attack. However there’s still been war going on for over a year now, and since oct 7th the bloodshed on Israeli side has been relatively minimal. Maybe people in this thread are right and the majority of gazans are terrorist that have aided Hamas in the killing and kidnapping. However the blood shed would be a lot higher imo.1200 is a lot for a sneak attack. I believe the problem was capability and not desire of the people. They took their best shot. My position has been from the beginning….if I’m in charge of Israel then they are my family. If you attack my family I’m going to kill you. And I will kill you wherever you are. I will stand between my family and you because I know you are trying to kill them. If you hide behind your family, that will not stop me from trying to kill you. If your family is hit as a result then that’s on you as you have failed to keep them out of the way. On the contrary, you put them there.Yes I agree it’s a lot for a sneak attack. Im not even saying Arabs don’t hate Israel/jews. But there’s a big difference between hating someone and acting on that hate
