Anybody remotely right of center is described as "far right" by the media, but even politicians who are outright socialists are never described as "far left."Notice the media's reaction and their attempt to use the language to control the narrative. I just typed Italy into Google and hit the news tab.

An unelected EU liberal threatened Italy if the conservatives get elected... in the name of "democracy" lol
EU's von der Leyen delivers veiled warning to Italy's right wing
"The President of the European Commission suggests that if the Italians elect a government that Brussels does not like, they may have funds blocked," Polish Deputy Justice Minister Sebastian Kaleta said
Many nations are slowly starting to figure out... they really aren't sovereign. They need to read all those agreements they have been signing.
Actually “Federalism” as applied to how we were planned is not a strong centralized unitary government. Rather a minimal powers central government with strong decentralized local governments at the state. Thus our “constitutional republic”Replace US states with European countries and our federal government with the EU, and you have the model. Creeping federalism and loss of autonomy. The concept of a central government may be good, and the founders may have had a rational and sensible plan, but there's no way to limit political ambition at the "top tier". The Brits (some of them) had enough common sense to see direction and call BS. We had our own split over federalism, but unfortunately we didn't manage to halt it.
