Its about to get real

You have Lincoln first and Hog has Lincoln last. It's almost as if "reasonable" people can disagree. That's why the averaged rankings from a number of experts is really the only indicator.

Anyone ranking Lincoln higher than last is ignoring history.

Take it up with every human alive other than yourself.

But you're probably correct, and every other person who lives and breaths just doesn't understand.

Ah, but who picks the “experts”? Is that not the 64 thousand dollar question? 😉

Not really. The experts are the ones who have spent their lives researching and studying the subject. Like with any other field.

Honestly I wanted to put Reagan and FDR as a tie.
FDR was a dictatorial wanna be who stretched the Constitution to the breaking point and threatened the Supreme Court with packing to intimidate it into approving the blatantly unconstitutional New Deal this saddling is with the bastardized system we endure today. FDR along with Woodrow Wilson were the two most destructive Presidents in the history of the Republic. They were also confirmed racists.

Okay, let’s each pick our own slate of experts that meet the criteria you mentioned. I guarantee you they will come up with wildly different rankings.

Of course they will. Just like you and Hog - even though you are not experts.
That's precisely why you have to take the average of many.

If Lincoln had been in office at any other time, then maybe. The man was faced with an armed rebellion that almost destroyed the nation. I think we can cut the man some slack. But I know you and I will never agree on this question so why rehash it yet again?

only if you agree that the ranks of Academia from which you would undoubtedly pick your experts is literally eaten up with Leftist fanboys who probably have posters of Che and Mao in their offices 😉

Clinton's mentor was also J. William Fulbright who was another segregationist. The real reason I ranked Clinton last - NAFTA.

I will say that Clinton was the last Democrat in history to actually TRY to be a President for all Americans by trying to move to the Center. After him, the inmates took over the Democrat asylum

Yet you put Lincoln who was even more tyrannical #1?

There was no rebellion, there was peaceful secession that he turned into a war.

The love of Lincoln comes from a guilty conscience of US citizens. He killed a million of his own citizens, suspended habeas corpus , and he actually did what they accused Trump of and effectively stuffed the ballot box of the electoral college. He was a textbook definition of dictator.

Mostly peaceful shells fired into Fort Sumter?
Lincoln forced the issue when he had Union ships sail into the blockade to resupply Ft Sumter. He was told straight up that was trigger an attack. The Union garrison was free to leave at any time they chose and would have in fact been guaranteed their safety by the Confederate military. Also go look at how many deaths occurred during the shelling and when they occurred.

Which doesn’t change anything about who made the decision to fire the first live shot.

Oh and the first fired shots didn’t go into Ft Sumter. I believe they were delivered by cadets of the Citadel into a Union ship attempting to pass the blockade. Again that was Lincoln’s choice.

“Look what you made me do” is the default saying of the wife beater, not a responsible government
