That’s awesome lolIndeed… They are also the namesake for the Mulkey Cup - a coffee cup with their picture on it that my friend in Columbia, SC jokingly pass back and forth based on who wins the TN/SC game.
And, no . . . I’m not kidding.

Like this is a shock to me….I bet you have a CCP tshirt and a poster of MaoYou can pick the phone back up, there was really no need to hang up in the first place.
I have voted D in every presidential election since 1980. I would love to see some better options for a change, maybe '24.
I hope you don't giggle as if that is some kind of gotcha.
You men you actually even voted for Mondale ?You can pick the phone back up, there was really no need to hang up in the first place.

A lot of people voted for Jimmy Carter. He even won the entire South in 1976 except for the state of Virginia. Some states in the south he won by double digits. Which also dismisses the ridiculous "southern strategy" theory democrats like to obsess about from time to time. That you voted for Jimmy Carter says all that is needed about how bad your judgement is.

That's not necessarily true. He still came very close to winning some of the same southern states in 1980. Reagan won Tennessee by less than 1% that election. The old school religious conservative democrats that were still around back then seemed to like the guy.In 1976, no one really knew better. By 1980, they pretty well knew how inept he really was.

I'm just pointing out that he still came very close to winning some southern states. Also, John Anderson received almost 7% of the vote that election. I'm not sure if that took more votes from Reagan or Carter. Reagan also seemed to have his strongest support in the West and Midwest. Ford also has strong support in those regions in 1976.Well okay, you're right. Carter won 49 electoral votes to Reagan's 489 with Georgia being the only southern state that did not flip Republican from 1976. Based on that, it has to be true no one had a clue Carter was inept.

Still, Carter did not get blown out near as bad as McGovern did in 1972. McGovern couldn't even win his home state.
Because you present her as a valid political option when she's simply an actor repeating a script. Pretty sure we have enough not very smart people in officeI've mentioned her name a few times. Apparently she's not well liked by some of the more conservative and libertarian men in here. Not sure why.
