Out of curiosity, how many threads do we have about Charlie Strong on VN? The total threads made is more news breaking than Strong himself possibly coming to Knoxville.

Seriously? He had the 22 ranked class at LOUISVILLE. His coordinator was named national recruiter of the year. Just do a Google search before you post next time and maybe you won't embarrass yourself.

Seems to be the aggressive M.O. of this BigOrangeCrush32 feller...hmmm. Has some internal anger issues maybe...IDK? Too much negative IMO on his part...
BOTTOM LINE FOLKS RIGHT HERE;You don't have to agree nor love/like the eventual HC...BUT...COMMON SENSE SAYS that if you are a TRUE VFL then you must give immediate support to the eventual HC and staff bc if you don't then you have to be classified as bandwagon...(when team does good you like and support, when team goes against your dream hire you boycott)
And BTW "O_C"...if you clam(as you do)that you will support the team but not the HC until he "proves" himself to you...guess what... you are by default supporting the HC's plan. Hate to break that to you bro... Hope you change your mind bc we need all of our big time true ORANGE BLOODS to be all in immediately. peace

I have no anger issues at all....but btw u and me, we will just agree to disagree.....I'm not a bandwagon fan.....I'm a disgruntled fan.....BIG DIFFERENCE

I'm not worried about a coach having the so-called "wow" factor. I want a coach who knows how to coach a football team during a game and how to make adjustments to what his team's doing during the game. Winning football games will make any coach we get a better recruiter.

Please go back and re-read the thread, most especially my post indicating that (despite the fact that my names is mistakenly showing up in the quote tags) i want no part of the opinion that you've just attributed to me. I made a plea to be distanced from that opinion. I actually challenged the poster of that opinion, and indicated that it's not healthy for the university.

I'm not carrying an aggressive MO, either, by the way.

He didn't even play there. I'm sure glad we didn't hire The General since he went to Army. Hopefully we'll be announcing Randy Sanders or Tee as our next HC since they're the only ones we can trust.

neither did moosecrap, but they like him as head coach. oh, i forgot, this is tennessee we're talking about. where inbreeding is required.

I think, maybe, the million dollar question may be: "Who is jumping on the opportunity that we don't know is jumping on the opportunity?"

I'm not personally going to lose faith until I see a coach named, and that coach is a disappointment. Lots of these coaches have current jobs, and need to play media relations until the deal is done and it's the right time to announce. Lots of other Universities hiring and jockeying. Several agents in the mix.

We, as a fan base, have almost no clear idea what the heck is going on. There is a lot of panic, but the fact of the matter is that we are panicking because of what we do not know-- not what we do know.

As a matter of fact Muschamp played for their biggest rival. Doesn't seem to stop him from doing the job he gets paid to do. I would expect nothing less from Strong.

Yep. It may be an ace. It may be a three kings. It may be double deuces or a straight flush.

In any even, unlike some on this board, I refuse to grade Hart's paper until he turns it in.
