It's Done - Strong will be announced [unconfirmed]

Well, now we can assume that we are now the heaviest hitters on the market right now. Outside of Wisconsin.

Could be forcing Hart to shizz or get off the pot too.

I am afraid Strong is going to get tired of waiting for an offer and say FU to Hart by the time he gets around to it. That said I would imagine Hart told Strong I will get back with by this date.

Please go back and re-read the thread, most especially my post indicating that (despite the fact that my names is mistakenly showing up in the quote tags) i want no part of the opinion that you've just attributed to me. I made a plea to be distanced from that opinion. I actually challenged the poster of that opinion, and indicated that it's not healthy for the university.

I'm not carrying an aggressive MO, either, by the way.

Thanks.

:hi:

In his defense O_C....he was talking bout me but just left some letters off....your a quality poster but we just have differing opinions....which is awesome....would be a dull board if we all agreed :)

The timeline would make sense. Strong is not denying anything, and says he will speak about being back at Louisville or not "at the proper time". Hart may have just wanted Fulmer to have his night (tonight) in NYC and then come back to Knoxville to make the announcement about Strong. If this is not the scenario then I do fear we are in trouble. Arky has a home-run and Auburn has someone they can believe in. Even KY did well.

That would make a lot of sense.

Apparently Wisconsin is contacting Strong.

This actually be a good for him. Gets him in a bigger conference and he has a better chance to win and succeed faster. Get that under his belt and no SEC team can have an excuse to not hire him.

I think this is probably spot on.
