It usually never happens on Sunday. We fired Majors on Tuesday night and Fulmer on Tuesday morning. Still have a couple of days to go.

DeerPark & BabyVol on TOS have stated this morning that Dooley is out. Gruden has been given 3 options/contracts to consider from UT. They are not saying Gruden will be hired, but Dooley will not coach Tennessee in 2013.

If you follow any of these boards, those 2 guys are a couple of the best at being reliable. Better days ahead.

Before the last two coaching hires, this forum speculated on more superstar coaches than is really possible. We ended up with Kiffin and Dooley. I won't believe it until a top notch coach is officially announced. Any other coaching change is a waste of time.

I heard Peyton was going to buy an additional 21 Papa Johns pizza franchises in east Tennessee and retire from the NFL at the end of the season. Then he was coming back to Tennessee to be the next HC for Tennessee. My source has never been wrong. My source is my cousins aunts uncles previous dog's owner. He heard it from his parole officer. so it has to be true. Announcement to be Dec 22 2012.

I hate to say it, but I agree 1000%. The way they looked yesterday, I say some hope. I think whoever the coach is next year will walk into a great situation. That is, if Bray and co. stay.

I personally believe that Charlie Strong would be a very good coach for UT. Dan Mullen would also do well based on what he's done at MSU.

Some people liked Sumlin previously. He's looking good now but I doubt he leaves TAM. Patterson is the other guy I wouldn't mind seeing in K'ville out of the potential current CFB coaches.

Actually, there are hundreds of coaches out there more accomplished than Dooley.

At this point, I'd rather have Phil come back than have Dooley around another year, and I am no Fulmerite. We went 5-6 in 2005 and still had a victory over a ranked team.
