It's over- announcement coming [by Monday] (WRONG)

Incorrect sir...The team has already gave up on him...Strong is not leaving Louisville and that AD has made it clear he will match ANY offer to him....Gruden will not wait until the end if he takes the job....Most of the recruits Dooley has now will stay put and if Gruden takes the job recruiting explodes....You guys always have the gloom and doom outlook....You forgot how good recruiting got when kiffin took over even for a year and don't give me that where are they now crap he pulled in some talent on that class so its not always a big transition if you hire the right guy.
Gloom and doom huh? How about rational thinking instead of the head in the clouds mentality. The grudenites base their sole reasoning on gruden being successful on a blank blank super bowl ring. Sure these kids want to get to the bigs, but if gruden and saban came calling sabans three maybe four NC rings would have major clout over a single super bowl ring. He has proven himself I hate him and the bammers. Grudens proved nothing.

Since it's doubtful that many VN posters could walk into the AD's office and get a personal briefing, the forum is a way to vent frustration and pass along unsubstantiated rumors about coaching changes. A very small core of forum members knows the score and loyalty/employment prevents them from speaking up.

Everyone else is just talking.

Why would Gruden leave his current job, where he earns 4.3 Million a year, while working maybe 4 months a year. To take a Job that requires busting your ass everyday of the year for 5 Million a year? I for one would love to have Gruden as our Coach. But using logic tells me he would be a Idiot to leave the job he has now. Face it guys if DD is fired. We will hire another scrub. I have no faith in UT's AD.

If its Gruden our recruiting will improve. I don't think people understand, you can take it to the bank. Kids will want to play for a superbowl winning coach who is constantly on ESPN in their living rooms and touted as a football expert.

Just like when Bill Walsh went to Stanford??

What are you? 4 years old? The "gru-ru"? Why don't you grab your banky and bobble and go crawling back to your crib.[/Q

Looks like ur in for a surprise my friend fooley is gone but arky will accept ya on their wagon then next yr you can jump back on tennessee's.

My blood is orange through and through just like yours but I appreciate your stupidity.

Never seen so much crap being thrown and hoping something sticks. Nobody on this thread knows anything. All of you are just slinging it and hoping your the one that if or when it happens you can crow about being right. The ONLY one that knows anything is Hart and I don't think he shares it with buddies in the know.

Amen brother.

You all are amazing. According to "credible sources" Dooley's been fired on Mondays about 3 times now. Can't wait to see what happens when this one falls through.

Seriously, you're like teenage girls fawning over Gruden. And there's not even any proof he's coming.

These so called Tennessee fans are worse than teenage girls.

Well when it happens. I just hope what's left of the Doolites that they find a nice padded room. It blows my mind how Dooley still has followers. The man has proved to be nothing but a loser. His resume speaks for itself.

You guys were 19 yards away from driving a stake through Spurrier's heart yesterday. Other than Bray's little beer bottle episode during the summer, there have been no embarrassing off the field issues. Your team showed more class during Lattimore's injury than I have ever known of a UT team to show about anything. Every team except for South Carolina was undefeated at the time they beat you. And all you can talk about is how great you think Gruden "could be" if he goes to Knoxville? After the heart your team played with yesterday there is no way I would say they have quit on Dooley. 19 YARDS!!!

But he is a really nice guy, Southern too. Winning is so overrated.

Good post but it has been like this since he has been here. Not one meaningful game has he won and that will not change

OP is an emotional basket case with quitting and anger issues, who now has a plagiarism problem.
Get a grip. You quit. Remember. Now stay gone.
