See that's what make us awesome we don't don't always think the same thoughts about everything. How boring would that be if we did? All of us form our own opinions. We can't really say for sure what Boyd could have been here but at least we both can agree that what every he does it won't be at UT.

BJ was also a 4* and the second coming of Manning according to some. I say let's play some games and see if some recruits take notice. Works pretty well most of the time.

All the good QBs will have committed by the time we suit up against WKU. Playing games is worthless unless we land a QB.

This is true. It seems though that most of those who wanted Boyd, now want Scroggins but they really can't explain a difference. Scroggins hasn't even been to campus yet and if the coaches don't like his measureables, then what?? Let's let him show up to campus first and foremost.

I see where this post is coming from. And I also wonder why Kiffin is so hell bent on measureables. He better get a servicable QB at the least this year. I'm wondering why Scroggins isn't championship quality? Chris Leak was at Florida. I think Scroggins has the potential to be better than Leak.

Scroggins is not the college version of Chris Leak, IMO.

The problem right now is there aren't too many bright spots showing up on the radar at the QB position as if this year was that great anyway for that position. I think that Scroggins so far has been identified by the staff that he is one of the top QBs they are in this class. You know this staff watches a lot of game film and I am sure they have seen Scroggins' film so they know he has very good potenial.

You're right. How reckless of Oklahoma, Bama, BUY, U-Dub, LSU, WVU ect. They should just wait until the season starts like we are.

Interesting. Are you saying maybe this staff doesn't need to get a QB in this class? Play for an elite QB in the 2011 class?

Or do you think other 2010 QB prospects will start to shine later in this year and that one of them will fit UT better?

Boyd is injured isnt he??? Honestly I think petty could of done more then boyd. I honestly think either Lamison or Rozier can become a starter and do well. Also Nick S. was injured for Spring practice. He could blow up in Fall camp and become the QB we need. People thought Ainge wouldn't do squat and we went to the SEC championship and 1 INT and we were in a Quality bowl if not BCS.

The only one in there that didn't have a winning record in there was U-Dub and they took a backup QB, IMO. The other guys are HOT in recruiting and have an identity on offense.

So? What's your point? We have to wait until the season to get a QB because we had a bad year? We'll be picking from the scraps under your scenario.
