This is aweful. Bye Bye! Don't want this crap on any Vols team. They should be ashamed. Maybe for punishment they should have to run over middle with no pads and let EB light them up...then jail.

This is the worst news I've heard in a LONG time concerning our beloved vols. Janzen was a sure fire NFLer and an integral part of our defense. What an idiot....... You too nukeese

This is unreal. I know Harrington confirmed it but I just don't want to believe it. The article was vague so I'm hoping it is somehow wrong. If Heather is right, she's up to 1 time being right.

And there is a story on GoVols.com about JJ and how he learned from his mistake earlier. Apparently not.

I wish Nuke had transfered to Florida now...He would have fit in perfect with their team of felons.

Just received a text confirming from Tennessee updates. This is a sad day, and things were going so well! Hope this does not affect the play of the others on Saturday.

I am hoping edwards was the driver and can cop a plea. Rivals will use this day and night. Its 2 am, do you know where your starters are?

This also shows that we should not recruit people with iqs below 75. I hope they were on drugs because if sober they decided to rob a well lit pilot with obvious outside surveillance they will be struggling to outsmart fellow prisoners for cigs.

One of them was wearing team apparrel. Look up derric evans. Like him I believe they will end up working fast food now.

Not just evil, not just dumb, both at the same time...

I have to say I'm not shocked that it involved Nuke...there's been too much drama surrounding him since he got here...

I'm absolutely blown away about Jackson...why in God's name is he doing this?

I'd say both are about to get a major dose of reality...you do crap like this you pay a serious price for it...I don't care who you play football for

SO...can we just tell Dunkley to take a hike now?

I know we were a long shot anyway...but can we just wash our hands of these Pahokee thugs...from what I've heard Dunkley is right on the same level as Nuke

As much as it is disappointing UT needs to move on from these two. Even though Jackson was playing really well, he can be replaced. It will be interesting to see how Kiffin chooses to deal with the situation. A dismissal from the team seems appropriate imo. Hopefully, they don't repeat mistakes discipline-wise of the previous regime.

I am a huge Kiffin fan, I just hope he does not take long to drop the hammer on this one. Kiffin gained alot of credibility with me when he cleaned up this team. I can not believe Jackson was part of this. He seemed to have so much going for him. I could give a damn about Nuke. Maybe Kiffin needs to institute a piss in the cup policy, because drugs had to be involved with being stupid enough to rob a pilot on the strip. How dumb can you be. I remember someone circulating a picture of them when they first got here at a party. I thought then that they looked stoned out of their minds. It just goes to show that this is more a part of the culture these days than anything. I really thought that with the way Jackson had played he would be an adequate replacement to Berry, and a sure fire draft pick. This is just sad.

Back in the dark ages when I was in school, ALL players lived in the athletic dorm and coaches and trainers made bed checks at all hours of the night. I don't recall any incidents of this nature until the NCAA ruled that it was against the NCAA rules to have separate dorms for players. This led to letting players live off campus with no supervision. Trouble has followed. The NCAA is as stupid as some football players. What a shame.

Well for a positive, does this open up any scholarships for our '10 class? Could this hurt us in recruiting?

Considering the nature of the situation I didn't want to be the first one to ask that question :p I don't think it opens up spots in the total number of guys we can sign for '10, but it would allow us to enroll more guys early for January.
