I understand typos, but did you actually not know how to spell waste?

Haha Its one thing to give an opinion its another to state matter of factly that the guy cant play. Over and over and over and over. Like you are nsome kind of scout or high level talent evaluator. Had you ever even seen the kid play when you wrote all that garbage?

Not as a 20+ minute a night player at the SEC/PAC 10 level. If he's anything more than a bench player, you don't have a very good team.

He was one of the leaders on a team that went to the Elite 8...

Tennessee's most successful team ever isn't very good.

Ouch.

:eek:lol: +1

Hat is always smarter and more informed than everyone else on the board and if you fail to recognize it or point out that that isn't the case then he gets all upset. So heres to you hat:bow2::bow2::bow2:

Honestly - this thread is embarrassing .... for NewtoVolCountry - just stop. You're embarrassing yourself in the process.

JP had a good half of a season - otherwise his career was very up and down with the bad outweighing the good for the most part until this year. And it didn't help his attitude was pretty crappy on the court for an average player. He still contributed more than Hatvol's prediction (but wasn't a god or anything) - but he owned up to that after last season several times - but you obviously wouldn't know that and would refuse to acknowledge it if you did.

Yeah, you are right. It was totally uncalled for. Hatvol, I am really sorry and I promise to bow down before you like everyone else on this board.

Some people need to get a life, and not worry so much about proving others wrong.

Here's to you Volwarrior...for having nothing better to do at 3:30 am on Thursday morning.

Hopefully things work out for you buddy.

This thread was actually pretty interesting to read.

One thing it shows....no matter how "knowledgeable" a particular poster is supposed to be, it may sometimes be better to take a "wait & see" approach.

And here's to JP.....this year's tourney run doesn't happen without him. :salute:

They are predictions. Over the top, no doubt, but the guy still knows his stuff, generally. He said similar stuff about Bobby Maze and recanted quite a few times this year about them

RTL, it's not just Bobby Maize, but Goins and Williams
who never played before. We have to give some major credits to Coach Pearl and staff for developing these guys. JP did not arrive to this level by himself,,, to blatantly make an opinion that a player cannot be developed or realize potential is dumb.
