Honestly she is lucky they arent pressing charges (caveat emptor I am an FSU fan...). The other DNA was her boyfriends who found out she left Potbellys with a black dude and got mad.
It was a lie that grew and grew. And yes I am a FSU fan (vol fan first for life... we cant help who we grew up loving lol), I have most of my family in that neck of the woods, some in the law profession and some that frequent the bar in question so I know a little about the situation.
Florida fans butthurt should take football out of the equation, likewise bama fans should stop praying to their saban idols that they crawfish back into the NC game if OSU and FSU loses...
You're out of your mind if you believe that. There's a reason rape victims rarely come forward and this case has been a classic example as to why. Both women (as well as male victims) know full well what will happen to them if they come forward and how slim their chances of being believed are while their chances of having people dissect them, lie about them, and attack their credibility are high.
Fact of the matter is the 'false claims myth' is BS. They're not only miniscule but statistically significant and the ones who have done it usually have mental illness and preexisting contact with law enforcement. Their cases last all of a few hours because they usually crack under questioning and they're typically punished for filing a false report.
To further your point, a recent study showed that false rape reports are only about 5-12% of all reported rapes. All this is going to do is make people who really did suffer perhaps the most heinous crime a person can commit think even more about not being able to see justice or be taken care of.
Though, I do feel that any girl who is found to be falsely accusing a man of rape (or vice versa) should be charged by the state immediately as if it were a case involving a minor, with or without the victims consent and that they should be punished as far as the law allows. Even a false allegation can ruin a person's life.

If that's the case why did it take so long?
1. FSU has influence in TPD and it's amazing it ever came out 2. Money buys time 3. FSU provided a lawyer that was tipped to it all it happened and loong before witnesses were interviewed 4. they needed close to 12 months to prep witnesses the right way and come up with a good story fans of FSU, including the various conspiracies that Florida or Bama was behind 5. after prepping witnesses and Jameis they also needed those 11-12 months to strategize about how best to discredit the victim and elevate Jameis. It's a delicate thing discrediting rape victims and it's often more delicate when it involves discrediting one raped by a privileged football player.
The plan was for it to die a slow death and take steps to defend against should it ever come out and it only takes one fan/officer for the first part to happen -- just a regular cop who doesn't take rape seriously would do it too (happens all the time). Hell, even the former Chief of Police said he'd never heard of the case before it broke and that he'd like to know why.
Make sure to watch Oceans 11 before you rob a casino & it'll go real smooth.
The TPD and Meggs have proven to have an agenda against FSU players so believing that they were working in connection with FSU is absurd.
She couldn't keep her story straight and there are no facts that back up her claims. Why should be continue to called the victim?
Possibly gravity.....or for that matter there's a ton of scenarios.
I know, but that's for Winston's attorney to argue, not the DA.
Read the docs that were released today. They are available online. I'm not suggesting that a conviction would be a sure thing, but there is no way the DA can make a convincing argument that he didn't have enough evidence to bring a charge.
