He would be in the '10 class. He would be one of the 30 that we can sign...
Wasn't the general feeling that this guy missed his chance here when he couldn't make it in last year? I thought everybody seemed to be under the impression that we might not even pursue him again bc of the better WRs we were going to sign in the '10 class. Does coming in in Jan. make all that a moot point?
I didn't say a single word about him. Didn't know what his situation was, nor what the staff thought about it.It seems like not that long ago people were calling this guy a chump and that we didn't want him. Everyone was saying that they are glad he didn't make into school. People seem pretty excited now........oh the life of recruiting.
I do think we are going to see a huge difference as we get these bigger WR's in here that actually want to be a part of the team (unlike Warren apparently).
Every receiver that steps foot on UT campus from January '10 on out will be better than any receiver we have on our roster right now
Are you suggesting that 6'2 is short?
not short but in football terms i consider a 6'2 receiver to be a quicker guy, which is good to have, i'd just like to get a few more 6'6 guys to put on the outside. they would be a great complement to nuke, teauge, cobbs, ambles, meline, and green. especially in the red zone in jump ball situations.
6'6 is rare for a WR.
6'3+ is usually considered a big WR so I'm not sure what you're talking about. 6'2 is fine. It's better than what we have now.
6'6 is huge. I can't think of any WR's that height that are good. I guess Nu'keese is a "little person" then. I think R. Moss is 6'4 and that is pretty huge when you realize that DB's are around 5'9. I'm thrilled with our 6'2 guys personally
