James Green

His coach (Bill Ragans) played DB for F.S.U. from 86-90 and started his last two years. He made the comment that he knows what it takes to star in big time college football and James has it with out a doubt. Ragans played in the 1990 Hula Bowl and said Johhny Majors was his position coach and he loved him.

That is awesome. I really liked this guy when he committed and I think he is going to be special.

Thats another player that doesnt get love. oliver is someone I hardly think about. What will be his position? Anyone have any ideas.

"I probably have short changed Oliver by calling him a safety only. Oliver will get a look at corner as he can run."

I doubt we go after this kid again also. With the depth we're building this year and the wr's we've got verbally and still hope to get verbally this year we should be on the track back to greatness.

You guys may be wrong. Seems kind of crazy not to recruit him.

He wanted to be a Vol.

Ranked as a 4*.

Grew during the summer and is now 6-4.

He had an extra year to hit the weight room.

Why would the staff not what that? 19 year old freshman > 18 year old freshman.

If it's true that he went to JUCO instead of prep school, he isn't eligible to go back to D-1 until 2011. A decision on whether or not to take him back will likely depend on who we get at WR in the next 2 classes and how Green performs in JUCO. JMO

That's true. Would have to be really stacked though. How many years of eligibility would he have then... three?
