James Green

You guys may be wrong. Seems kind of crazy not to recruit him.

He wanted to be a Vol.

Ranked as a 4*.

Grew during the summer and is now 6-4.

He had an extra year to hit the weight room.

Why would the staff not what that? 19 year old freshman > 18 year old freshman.

If he goes JUCO he wont be a freshman. Not saying we shouldn't go after him, just saying by the time he's ready he may not be a priority. Although you can never pass up great talent, especially that rare talent that bleeds orange.

Aah, well then if he goes JUCO... I agree with you guys that Tennessee would only take him back if he is beating up on the competition. If he goes to prep school, Tennessee should go after him no matter what. A 6-4 4* 19 year old freshman that plays wide receiver doesn't just fall in your lap everyday. You guys sound like you know more about him choosing the JUCO route then me so I'll so go along with you guys and assume he is going JUCO. Can always cross the fingers he goes to prep school instead.

I talked to Lamont Green, Jame's father yesterday prior to the game and the issue was the Ncaa red flaged his ACT score and gpa at the last minute. At the time when all this was in question there were not anymore test scheduled to be given. James has taken it and is in prep school in Boston. He has now been cleared and will be here in January.

It is always great to have some positive news! Hope he can come in and be a playmaker for us because we sure need them!

Seems to be true. I saw someone asking Brent and crew about it the past few days, but they never got an answer...

also Mr.Green said James maintains his love for wanting to wear orange and white and be a Vol.

The same poster said this on VQ... I'm glad he wants to be a Vol because we have a couple of upperclassmen WRs who don't wanna be there...
