I haven't heard anything about his eligibility with Southwind. I know they got the letter, but they're not saying what the ruling was.
As for his visit to Arky, he'll say the same thing about his visits elsewhere. He'll rave about the UT and get the Vol fans all wound-up as well. He's loving the recruiting limelight. Memphis is the last stop I believe. Don't nobody want to go live in Arkansas.
Mike Anderson was a mediocre recruiter at UAB, a mediocre recruiter at Mizzou and will be a mediocre recruiter at Arkansas.
Hate to say it, but I'm getting the feeling that he's leaning towards Arkansas...hope we can land him though. Also, he doesn't strike me as an attention whore. He's not doing anything different than any other high-profile recruit besides maintaining a blog.

So, has he committed to us, yet?
I wish that was the case. It seems we made up ground (according to Adam Zagoria- Tennessee Makes Pitch for Stokes | ZagsBlog.com) but don't know if its enough. I think it would work in our favor if he didn't commit anywhere until the Spring and gives the coaching staff enough time to make up more ground throughout the season. It would also give Jarnell an idea of the style of play Martin runs.
Arkansas just lost out on one of their top prospects to Houston over the weekend. Chicken Knowles was probably their third most sought after prospect, after Archie Goodwin and Jarnell Stokes. Mike Anderson already making a habit of losing top players to C-USA schools. Doesn't set a good precedent.
Thanks for the link. That article encourages me.
