Memphis just picked up top 20 2012 player Shaq Goodwin. Hard to tell what this does to Stokes' recruitment. On one hand, he's got competetion for playing time right off the bat at Memphis which may push him UT's way. On the other, he's played with Shaq in AAU ball and the two have a good relationship. We'll see what happens over the next few days.

Nah. Parker does not appear to be going there. The Cousins/Wall class at UK still has to be better.

FWIW, I saw where Easterwood said he got info that Poythress was Vandy bound. He also is still saying Stokes to Memphis.

Brooks Hansen just said on Chris Vernon's radio show that if Stokes does not choose Memphis, it is UT or Arky. Not Kentucky.

Doesn't really matter. If he signs during the early period it will be to Memphis.

Haha, yeah I know. I am not really a fan of the guy, but he is pretty spot on when it comes to info on Memphis guys or Memphis recruits.

I heard this too. To me, sounded like the guy was just grasping at straws and really had nothing to back up his info. Calling Shaq a hands down better player than Stokes at this point was a little off base.

KE seems to only be good for stories of the old days at this point. His "good" info has been dwindling fast.

Honestly, I will takes Brooks' word over KE's everyday and twice on Sundays. KE has hte experience but he is not in the loop like he was at one time.

I really don't think anyone knows about Alex at this point. I do like Dave though. For recruiting, I typically will trust Dave and Brooks.

I also do think that getting Shaq Goodwin will lessen the blow tremendously for Memphis if Stokes chooses UT or Arky. PT might be harder to come by as a Tiger so Stokes might decide to go east or west of Memphis.
