Jarnell Stokes names his top 3

I believe he would have to walk on at Memphis for the semester bc I do not think they have any scholarships.....I am sure that would not be a deal breaker though... UM guys on here could probably elaborate further.

I have heard from someone with good info that enrolling in Jan is a real possibility.

I have heard the same.

It would mean taking Drew Barham's scholarship. He's a walk on that was getting the use of an otherwise unused scholarship this season.

Belmont plays Marshall twice this season. Marshall should finish behind Memphis, UCF and Tulsa in the C-USA.

I need to start charging you a monthly fee for all the knowledge I'm dropping on you.
You might need to point out some of it. As far as I can tell, Pastner still doesn't coach and CUSA still blows. If you're holding Wojcik's boys as a front runner, you are simply lost.

I believe that is correct re: one year contracts. Someone cannot be taken off of scholarship midyear to make room for another. This isn't free agency.

The kid actually has the credits to graduate EARLY. I don't think it's a question of him qualifying.

That's a credit to him but certification is never done in a timely fashion. NCAA will take their sweet time with this one for sure IMO

Nobody said that C-USA, outside of Memphis, was anything special. In fact, I'll admit that this is a down year, even by C-USA standards.

There's only one front runner in the C-USA, and UT plays them at 2 p.m. today.

Who knows. I think this "Stokes can be eligible in january" nonsense was invented by desperate Memphis and Arkansas fans. It's ridiculous and I don't think Stokes has even considered it.

I think following this kid is a waste of time. Nothing at all tells me he is coming to UT.

Well, then you have not followed it very closely. He is not a done deal to anybody. UT is still very much in the picture. Especially once he decided not to sign during the early signing period.

Stokes was overheard telling his pet ferret last night that he would commit to whoever won the UT MSU game today.

I know this is a joke but I do think Tenn being competitive in the 2 games against Memphis is important. I believe that since he waited to sign he wants to see what CM's product and Ark looks like and if Pasner has developed any as well.

Arkansas has already dropped one to a C-USA school. Let's see how UT fares against another. Gametime.
