Jarnell Stokes names his top 3

It would be an upset of epic proportion if he chose us over Memphis. I don't expect it to happen.

Not saying it's going to happen. I think it's closer than people think. When does the early signing period end?

I'm seen nothing to give me any confidence he's coming here. Hope I'm wrong.

The fact he hasn't signed and we are a week into the early signing period still doesn't give you the least bit of confidence?

No. I just have no confidence at all that he's coming. I'm not some authority on recruiting; that's just the way I feel about it.

I guess my stance would be that since we were by just about every account the leader with BP, the fact he is waiting to see means he wants to see what CM has to offer.

Hmm... Shaq signed his papers to Memphis today after all. Would not totally surprise me if Stokes pulled some kid on dramatic last minute signing with Memphis today.

Still think he waits, but you never know.

Yeah there was some "Oh Noes" around here with Shaq not signing thinking he was looking at UCLA still but I think that was his mother doing but there was some panic fans running around town today I ran into. The word I still hear is Memphis is his first pick but UT isn't far behind and it's alot closer then most folks think. JMO...

CM might have more to offer.

Memphis was favored by 4.5 in that game.

Memphis' whole gameplan is to out run the other team and win through pressure. That's why we went out and hired the best strength and conditioning trainer in the biz. Obviously, that game plan worked against a good team yesterday.

But again, I understand UT fans not wanting to give Pastner his due.

Pastner obviously deserves credit for his solid late game management yesterday.

Now hearing murmurs from Stokes camp that he has cooled on Memphis and is being pushed to Arkansas. Something having to do with his frustrations with the TSSAA and his ineligibility. No mentions of UT, so I'm led to believe they're still the dark horse behind Memphis and Arkansas.

Hardship from TSSAA denied.

Rumors that he is eligible to to graduate in December and enroll in a college in Jan.
