Why isn't he playing TE?! He's got prototypical TE size. He could be a major matchup problem for defenses at TE and working the middle of the field.

I think this cat would be dominant at TE over time. I would also move this guy around because like you say, he poses a major match up problem with his size.

It's been mentioned alot of times on here....and I have to agree that we just don't have the QB to get the ball to the receivers. I see alot of talent for the future in our receivers. North, Smith, Croom, Pig.....can we just please get someone to get the ball to them!

Hey MZ, let him know we're all still behind them 100%. At least those of us who aren't idiots. GBO!

Thanks. They need to hear that from you guys. Their spirits were broken yesterday. As our expectations were as fans were set high, and the boys had the same for themselves. They went out and ran the same play repeatedly called to them. They have appreciated and accepted, bought into , trust and whatever else we wantto add into the new staff, so when we witness such a huge communication breakdown and the hiding behind excuses of who's at fault, dont blame the kids.

shYt rolls downhill. The body doesnt function without a head....and chickens will run around with their heads cut off.

One last thing, and this is not about Jason. ! But as a parent of a player. Dont tweetand facebook players your personal thoughts how they did unless its positive.

Remember our boys are working their asses off to entertain you. Just a lil inside thingfor you to consider.

why would a fan want to bash our guys under any circumstances? They give a lot to Tennessee. They earned those schollys some of you really need to be more conscious of your behavior on social media towards our team. Other schools read your messiness and what we say here matters

Absolutely. Excellent post. We needed to hear that. I felt for the guys yesterday. They didn't give up. This is just a team with no identity right now offensively. Nobody can really do much about that. But I know it was a great moment for you to see him get his first TD yesterday. Fantastic catch. Hopefully many more to come.

And that is why we love MZTerry! I could not agree more and it makes me sick to see trash about any of our players. They do give there all for Tennessee and that is all we can expect from them. We knew this wouldn't change overnight. Let's supports our Vols....each and everyone of them. I don't think we will see anything close to Oregon the rest of the year. And these kids have alot to play for. Call me crazy but I think we do pull an upset this year. Thanks for your perspective MZTerry.

I agree. It drives me insane when people tweet negative things to our players, or recruits.

Back to a previous statement, I think it's great that we've become a run first team. I just think the way we are running. The read option that is really just a straight handoff is miserable.

Also, thanks for the insight on Jason.

I might have to link back to this the next time someone says that players and recruits and other schools don't read what we post publicly and judge us accordingly! :hi:

I'm glad my dad didn't put something on the internet that could affect my relationship with my coaches and teammates. I don't think that's a good idea in the least bit. And talking about buying in like it's regretted? To add, "other schools read and see our messiness..." yet you are giving them material. "Freshman WR Croom's mom upset about buying in and posts about rotting from the head down". Doesn't really go along with the advice, imo.
Good luck this year. I hope we get things worked out.

This ^ all day. Thanks MIZ "T". Some need to be reminded that the vast majority of these kids are doing their best to Give their All for Tennessee. Nobody feels the pain of a loss more than those on the field.

Another thing and then im going back under my rock.lol

when our children hurt, so does the hearts of the parents. We damn near had to have a therapy group session together after the buses pulled off. We stand there trying to lift our boys spirit while not showing ours, then we get back to our hotels to read whodid whAt wrong and why and what you think, as cyber coaches do. Well from the inside scoop to yall, it makes the parents numb to you.

Ie:

Im a vfl whether good or bad, so walking thru Phoenix airport, we saw some vols, and as a normal vol greeting me and Harris mom say hi, go vols...this mo'fo turns around to us and says, "not today", pissedme off, and me being my outspoken self, I say, then take the fkn shirt off and dont misrepresent who we are. Fairweather bastard. Sorry yall, but a that's how I felt.

As long as our boys r winning it's "im all vol", they lose a tough one, and its "im not today, but you're wearing a Tennessee shirt go big orange with his fat ass."really????

Im on air plane right now still trying to get back to Atlanta. Stay on one sideof the fence. Im a vfl no matter whats happening and at the end of the day its a reflection of my kid tnat you're ragging.

Thats all.

I've been in the 3 airports and2 plane changes. And you got the nerves to saynot today . burned me up.lol

How are you not calling out the coaches here? I agree with what you're saying, but I don't know how to interpret this any other way.

And while I agree with you, I don't think it is a good idea for a parent of a player to call out coaches on a public message board. It just can't end well.

Congrats on Jason's TD.
