Dont get it twisted. Im not upset nor is there any regret, you may need read what I did say.

will the vfl fans who understand what I said explain it to Spart. Im logging off , finally descending into Atlanta after 12 hrs of supporting my kid

frustrating day, and you and your family have been through a lot since he signed.
I just don't think some of the things you posted are a good idea. You just don't want him to have to answer in case some yahoo reads this on here and runs into him, or whatever the case. jmo, which is not worth anymore than any others.

And the answer to your questions is:

Nobody freaking knows what to do with him.lol

I dont think any of the receivers are being utilized . Yesterday is prime as example. When the hell did we become a running team? Im going to leave that right there, before I go off the deep end.lol

Soooooo, Croomster still has his speed, and moves well

Blocking is phenomenal if you have the games on film , watch them. . He'S BEEN HANDLING 2 or 3@ a time. He has made great blocks to get Neal open for Td in the past few games. Im like the rest of yall, and I dont talk to or at Azzanni about his plans for Jason. I think Azzanni knows what he's doing and it takes the entire team to execute the plans.

Everybody has a piece and Jason can be used in either capacity well. , we'll just have to wait and let it do what it's gonna do. Maybe we'll go back and rethink the plan for Saturday against Florida.

The puzzle doesn't look well with pieces in the wrong place.

I don't understand how anyone rooting for the Vols could watch that game yesterday and come away thinking that we ran the ball too much.

Croom was just overhyped. He could still have a good career, but was just overhyped in the off season. Even the touchdown he caught, he wasn't very open. It was the only good throw Worley made the entire day.

Forrest Gumps momma was right, stupid is as stupid does and this post proves it.

Next time you have a thought, just let it go or at the very least let someone with an IQ over 20 proof read your post.

I'm glad my dad didn't put something on the internet that could affect my relationship with my coaches and teammates. I don't think that's a good idea in the least bit. And talking about buying in like it's regretted? To add, "other schools read and see our messiness..." yet you are giving them material. "Freshman WR Croom's mom upset about buying in and posts about rotting from the head down". Doesn't really go along with the advice, imo.
Good luck this year. I hope we get things worked out.

Never have I ever agreed with Sparty so much.

The hypocrisy here is hilarious.

The hypocrisy here is hilarious.

Some people say things and then say that they did not mean what they said. Others are supposed to understand that they meant something else, not what they said. What they said does not mean what they said. You are supposed to understand that, and if you don't then you are at fault. There must be something wrong with you!

How are you not calling out the coaches here? I agree with what you're saying, but I don't know how to interpret this any other way.

And while I agree with you, I don't think it is a good idea for a parent of a player to call out coaches on a public message board. It just can't end well.

Congrats on Jason's TD.

I,on the other hand, don't agree with her point...But she has a more vested interest than most of us...She has every right to air it out on here...if Butch and/or staff members are camped out on here...looking to get their feelings hurt, that's on them....I don't want a coach that can't hear negative talk without retaining a therapist...that ain't Butch btw

Croom is a redshirt freshman!
Redshirt.
Freshman.

I can't believe some of you are ready to call someone "overhyped" when they've hardly begun their Tennessee career.

Let's also not forget that in his 15 game career he's had two different head coaches, two different WR coaches, and two different offensive playbooks/systems.

Geez. Relax. The best is yet to come.

If y'all would read my next post, you would see that I typed it wrong. Didn't mean it how it came out.

However, coming from someone that IS a football coach, and has covered the sport for years, I think I know what I'm talking about. Thanks.

I like Mzterry, but not going to sugar coat things just because she is here. I wasn't saying Croom is a bust by any means. I was simply saying that thus far, he hasn't produced like most everyone thought he would early on. Therefore I said overhyped. I meant overhyped thus far. Obviously there is still a long way to go in the young man's career.

I've never bashed anyone specifically on the site, I don't see the point in it. I'm sorry my IQ isn't up to your standard though.

Meaning I've never bashed another poster specifcally. I've certainly expressed frustration with play calling, and play of players. I understand what both are going through, as I've been on both sides. It's tough, but still have to perform. JMO.

Thanks. They need to hear that from you guys. Their spirits were broken yesterday. As our expectations were as fans were set high, and the boys had the same for themselves. They went out and ran the same play repeatedly called to them. They have appreciated and accepted, bought into , trust and whatever else we wantto add into the new staff, so when we witness such a huge communication breakdown and the hiding behind excuses of who's at fault, dont blame the kids.

shYt rolls downhill. The body doesnt function without a head....and chickens will run around with their heads cut off.

One last thing, and this is not about Jason. ! But as a parent of a player. Dont tweetand facebook players your personal thoughts how they did unless its positive.

Remember our boys are working their asses off to entertain you. Just a lil inside thingfor you to consider.

This is Jason typical day real talk:

7am class

Study

practice

lunch

Studyhall

Film

study homework

shower

sleep 11pm

I mightget acall between the lunch and walk up the hill to say hi if itsmy day, his dad, or my mom

why would a fan want to bash our guys under any circumstances? They give a lot to Tennessee. They earned those schollys some of you really need to be more conscious of your behavior on social media towards our team. Other schools read your messiness and what we say here matters

I agree with you. This game was about the play calling. We give defenses over a second before the play even starts... See miss st. Slow, takes forever for the playto develop.

Blaming the players and calling them out is pathetic. Parents of the players should probably exercise caution as well and not throw the new coaching staff under the bus either. Let the season play out.

Also, it isn't uncommon for a coach to call the same play several times in a row. There probably was something they noticed that made them think they had an opportunity for a big play, it just never happened. I believe these coaches will learn from their mistakes as well.

I don't quite buy into the talent discrepansy as much as the rest. I think their system is perfected and uses their players to the best of their abilities. I think players like Croom and North were capable of a lot of success against Oregon but the mix of bad QB play and play-calling didn't give them the the opportunities to make plays. Missing our top 3 slot WRs hurt more than anyone can really guess, that just takes away such a large component of our offense. Hopefully we get Pig and Johnson back next week and we'll see what we're really capable of.

R U Kidding? De'anthony Thomas is sick, the QB is really good, that #1 dude is sick and their TEs were so solid. They are substantially better than us and will probably pound Bama

Oh I agree, they consistently get highly rated RB's, and they've recruited at TE good the past couple years, but overall as a team I still stand with my opinion. You could put a lot of their players on a team like Bama or LSU and they wouldn't necessarily stand out like they do at Oregon. It's the system. Their TE's looked good because of our blown coverages. After seeing Rivera dominate the past couple years I'm not that impressed with them as much.

Its not the system. They have NFL talent everywhere. They are going undefeated and will win the NC

I understand where you're coming from, and you're right, we have been through a lot and it's frustrating as hell sometimes when we have days like Saturday, wonder wtf happen, after the game we see our kids spirits just broken down, we feel their pain, read the boards, and 95% of the parents read these boards; 80% actually post and y'all just dont' know it; you just happen to know who I am...... We're all fans of UT football at the end of the day, families are just more vested, and I respect your opinion.
