He signed a NLI in Dec with Ga. and then it gets pulled. Now has to wait.

That isn't always the case. There are exceptions.

"INVALID NLI: The signing institution must notify a prospective student-athlete in writing that his or her NLI is not valid within five business days from when the institution is made aware of the status of the NLI. The institution must copy its conference NLI administrator on any such notification sent to a prospective student-athlete. The prospective student-athlete is permitted to sign another NLI during the same signing period or during another signing period for the conference office to validate."

If this were the case he could sign another LOI.


"If it is determined that the prospective student-athlete was instructed by the signing institution to not complete the admissions process, the NLI office may declare the NLI null and void."

If the above was the case he could sign another LOI.

People seem excited about this. I hate to sound like such a dummy but is it his coaching reputation or recruiting or just because he's a Vol? I looked back at the 247 recruiter rankings for the last 7 years and this was their take.

Ppl forget this because of how butch ended here but he had a lot of excitement and put together a good team at that point

He owns a proffesional sports team.
He will never be involved in the operational apsect of UT Football.

It's his love and he would not want to mix it with business.

I think you are right.

But.. I saw Peyton on TV at the UT/Kansas Basketball game. Seen him on the sidelines of many football games. Seems we always lose at games where they pan into the crowd and he's there.
