it is that simple. None of those coaches are better than him or have a better reputation in the south than him. Real hard for me to believe no other coaches approached Jay about jobs before FSU, but he stayed out of loyalty to the university during the transition.

You're not qualified to make these statements.

Let it go.

Go Vols!!

What is simple is that most of the others on the staff had years more experience then he did.

Even more simple: If you're at a place you supposedly love and feel like you're being underpaid, go ask for a raise. Forget that you already got a 15% raise when the new guy came in. If you think you're worth more, go ask it.

That, of course, assumes that you're exactly where you want to be, a shaky assumption for someone who has had 8 jobs in 13 years.

No he shouldn't have been paid the most. No he obviously didn't stay out of loyalty to the school.

I have stayed quiet long enough through this. Get back to work or something.

Volnation is never more ridiculous than when message board guy starts evaluating either "film" or assistant coaches.

Based on what??? Here are some backs recruited by Graham all signed elsewhere. Derrick Henry, Derrick Green, AJ Turman, Tarean Folston, and JoJo Kemp. I wonder if he was not a former Vol if anyone would care he left?

Tell me who has more SEC experience on the offensive side of the ball than Jay Graham?

That is what I thought.

Jones totally disrespected Jay when he paid Zach Azzanni more than him.

Maybe he know if he left another rb coach could do more for UT that would be better for his alma mater.. I'm not a rocket scientist and I know he kept a lot of the class together including north. But we also signed one rb and he didnt even have offers from the two biggest instate schools. This is deserving of a raise? Smh

If SEC experience is what pay should be based on then Ron Zook should be making more than 3/4 of the head coaches in the country. What exactly are we basing the fact that he deserved a ton of money on? The fact that fans like him? Weird.

Can you not give people time to respond before going on your little tangent. Or are they rhetorical questions?

Hey simpleton, someone tried to say the reason he was the least paid was based on experience only, if that is the case then we should have kept the old DL coach as he was about 70. Love how people ignore the foundation of an argument and jump in when they don;t have a clue about what they are talkng about.

You are just guessing. If Graham had played at any other school you wouldn't be saying all this stuff. Maybe the reason other schools didn't approach Graham before FSU might be that they don't view him the same way as some Tn fans do.
