VQ says that graham left for more money and that Jones tried unsuccessfully to renegotiate grahams contract for a raise, thanks hart!

If that's the case and it's just about money, then good luck to CJG. He was just given a raise a couple months ago. Maybe the next RB coach can recruit RBs.

Did not get the recruiting coordinator position and that probably didn't sit well plus he was at the lower end of the assistant pay scale.

Does this mean we don't have the best coaching staff in America anymore? Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch

How many of our coaches were above him on the pay scale? There's not a position coach on the staff that should make much more, if any more than Graham. IMO this isn't a Jay Graham issue, it's a UT issue. One that has went on far too long.

If this is true, I officially jump on the "Fire Hart!" bandwagon.

Ridiculous.

Not me. CJG was just given a raise. It's not always a good idea to just throw more money at a coach to keep him. Sometimes, it's better to just move on. Had we landed Henry, Green, Folston, Ford, ANYONE, it may have been different.

I'm wondering how much of an affect Coach Jones and his staff being so tight had on his decision? Was he an odd man out?

I hate to see him go but he may have felt he did not fit in with Coach Jones coaching philosophy. I wish him well.
