I’m talking about people comparing the importance of “acceptable presidential behavior” versus decisions that get us into decades long military conflicts that cost trillions of dollars and millions of lives.

I’m ok with Trump’s unconventional style so long as he works toward ending this pattern.

Three questions I'd have to ask regarding Afghanistan would be:

Are we fighting with or against the people we helped defeat the Soviet Union in Afghanistan?

Given that everyone who has invaded Afghanistan has had their butts handed to them, do the people who have been running this country know anything about history or are they just stupid?

Does anybody even remember why "we" decided to invade Afghanistan in the first place?

Trump's supporters are mostly white, mostly uneducated, uncultured, gullible and filled with a hostile resentment for blacks and Hispanics with the nerve to have better jobs and make more money than they do. Trump's rallies are nothing more than a forum for airing grievances centered on hate, bigotry, intolerance for others and their opposing viewpoints and the scapegoating of minorities - usually immigrants.

Trump has demonstrated a consistent pattern of rudeness, insensitivity, dishonesty, coarseness, self-absorption, vindictiveness and a lack of refinement or sophistication. What I have been provided? What I have been PROVIDED?!?!?!?!
My parents worked their fingers to the bone, suffered through 3 different bankruptcies, and had their lives shortened by high blood pressure because of it. I worked my ass off in college to get my architecture degree. When you were out drinking and playing with yourself I was down in the labs 24/7 for the last 3 weeks of the quarter. EVERY quarter. I EARNED my degree you smug *******.

When I got out there was a recession going on and NO jobs in my field. I didn't sit and cry and depend on the government, I went out and did something else. Sometimes I worked as many as three jobs.

And you are acting like there's never been a president with similar character flaws. Johnson basically tried to hide the war in Vietnam ... that's more than just a bit dishonest don't you think? He was too insecure to believe he could fight a war properly and still manage to do his "great society" thing. Johnson was as egotistical as they come ... just like all politicians. Rarely in the course of history has there been a public figure as coarse and uncivilized as LBJ. And don't forget the 58,000 men killed because of his actions or the many others who returned never to be the same.

Just came in from driving around and yelling obscenities at all the friggin' Mexicans and colored people in my town. I may need to move because there ain't enough of 'em to hardly make it sporting. I wish I could get me a good job takin' loan applications at First Tennessee Bank, but I ain't educated enuff.
