Well one is a Heisman candidate, feel good story who writes kids books and the other is a kid who is seemingly unappreciative that he got a second chance to be a part of this team. NIL value has as much to do with how promotable you are. Hooker is. Banks isn’t.If true…I bet the underlying issue was this. NIL seems like a cancer ready to spread across every program..in every locker room.

And if that’s a problem for Banks and some of the others, get rid of them.
Had it been an injury he would have been dressed out in street clothes or coach would have said he got banged up this week and is being held out.Seriously, that has been my major fear from the start with this NIL thing. Jealousy in the locker room. I really hope this rumor with Banks isn’t true and that it was just a petty disagreement. Thinking though that it was something more serious than stepping on the T. You don’t leave your defensive leader home for a skirmish over that. And if it’s an injury, Heupel should be clear with that immediately.
NFL contract of anything is what they play for. To get in the league and make a roster means you have a chance to make life changing money…goal is getting the first contract. After that get the year 3 contract to make multi-millionsIf these kids believe this then no NFL locker room is gonna want you. If the story is true, banks quite literally costed himself millions. Nfl has massive disparity in pay, guess what, the best players get paid the most.
Seriously, would anyone be surprised if Banks is all about $, zero indication he is a team guy, from behavior early (disrespect to Police ring a bell), that is engrained behavior, me first, take all I can attitude.
I think they're saying the NIL deals are bad for college players. I said the same thing when it all started being discussed years ago. Look at A&M. All those new highly recruited kids probably got huge deals while the starters didn't. This needs fixed and quickly with the NCAA.Please explain not following you here. ????
