My recollection was him questioning a Female riding along if she was sure she wanted to be in law enforcement, where he came from they ( as in others) shoot at police. True statement. It grew legs and became something more, much like the content of this thread. I actually wish the kid would have transferred for his sake. He had many schools interested. He could have easily took the Henry T or Q Crouch route. I will be willing to bet when this all comes to light NIL had very little to do with this. If Milton had broken his jaw Milton would have had a cast ( like McCollough), and there's no way in the world he would be expected to play next week. Either way he will be gone soon and we can find another player to HATE on.

I think Banks earned his second chance. I think he’s been a great contributor to the team. That doesn’t change the fact that advertisers don’t touch a kid who says those things. Sad but true.

If this is true then it is remarkably selfish behavior. In the midst of a run to the Championship Playoff, a player wanting to get “his”, a guy who may have gotten “his” but for his prior arrest. Actions have consequences. Now the whole team and VN, gets bounced from the CFP.

I don't think it is a matter of hate as much as it was a total distraction. More to the story that we may not know or ever know. His absence was noted and cause T Banks to have to scheme differently which in itself was an issue with Pass Rush and Coverage. Great practice all week with Banks? All of a sudden, his substitute goes in without any prep.

Him staying around Knoxville was the hard way..... The easy way out for him was to transfer. He actually worked with the police department to "right his wrong"....... It speaks volumes he hasn't made a peep of trouble since that dumb night.

Obviously. Many had let it go what Banks said and did as time went on but at moments notice he messes up and thats in our memory bank.
